ChillChill initially emerged as an indexing and community site but later became a portal with news and interviews surrounding BL media. It is now the main reference point for the genre in Japan.
Since 2009, they have been hosting the annual BL Award. This year, Saezuru volume 9 is in its contest for Best BLCD, with votes closing next Sunday (08/02). Please support Sensei and other works you appreciate by leaving your vote there. It's great, especially for visibility and recognition of new authors. :)

As I mentioned before, this year I only voted for Best BLCD.
I've been voting since 2019, but I get less and less motivated lately. If they ever decide to bring back the Best Seiyuu category - I'll probably get motivated again.
For Best BLCD I voted for Omae no Hou kara Kiss shitekure yo, with Ryouta x Chiaki. It got 4th place which was nice. I re-listened to it today. They're so good together and listening to their free talk brings me joy <3
The results for chil-chil’s BL Award 2025 are out!
As I mentioned before, I was less excited about it this year, because they've decided to exclude the Best Seiyuu category, which was my most fav category.
I only voted for a few categories. Among them, I voted for Omae no Hou kara Kiss Shite Kure yo (because of Ryouta & Chiaki), for Kowamote no Rinjin ga Ω datta Toki no Taishohou (because of Ryouta and Aji) and for His Little Amber (because of Aji).
Omae no Hou kara Kiss Shite Kure yo got 1st place on Next Generation and 2nd place on Best Comics, which was nice. Hopefully it will be included in next year's Best BLCD so I could vote for it.
On Best BLCD - His Little Amber got 2nd place and Kowamote no Rinjin ga Ω datta Toki no Taishohou got 5th place.
I enjoyed reading comments from fans praising the seiyuu, as they deserve.

I didn't vote for all the categories, so I'm only gonna talk about the ones I did vote for. Let's see:
Comics: I voted for His Little Amber. It got 2nd! I'm still waiting for the cast reveal for the BLCD! It's been 2 months since they announced a BLCD, but the cast has not been revealed yet. I'm anxious to know!!
Series: I voted for Fake Fact Lips Break because I adore them. It got 10th. The 1st place was Given, which I'm not mad about <3
Emotional: I voted for Kono te wo Hanasanaide 2 and it got 1st!! I'm happy. I love them!
Fetish: I voted for Minami-kun Wants to be Teased by that Voice, because obviously I have a voice fetish! I believe every seiyuu fan can relate to that. This BLCD was SO erotic *__*. It got 7th. The 1st place was Sex Drop 2 which I actually haven't listened to yet ^^;; I need to.
Next Generation: I voted for Kitayama kun & Minamiya kun because they're cute. Waiting to listen to the BLCD. It got 4th.
BLCD: I voted for Futari Asobi because Chiaki was so so SO freaking cute there. SO CUTE. Sadly it's not in the Top 10. The 1st place was Takara no Biidoro, which I'm also happy about. Ryouta and Yukke were really great there.
Seiyuu: I obviously voted for my beloved Chiaki. I also voted for Ryouta as my 2nd option. Chiaki got 6th which is pretty impressive. Ryouta wasn't in the Top 10. The 1st place was Soma.
And honestly (and I have to be honest here) I'm kinda over him getting 1st place almost every year. he's won a couple of years in a row: 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021 (2nd) and 2020. It reached the point where I can no longer listen to his BLCDs. I really think he's too overrated. Sorry Soma. I used to enjoy his roles, but lately I feel that he sounds the same in every role. I'm over it. :/
Impressive that Makonyan got 9th when he's only done 2 new BLCDs this year (the rest were sequels). He's powerful alright! Well deserved. Hopefully he'll do many new ones in the future. I also love that Yukke got 7th, so the two Kobayashi are very close to each other ^^

I wrote comments about most of my votes, and surprisingly my comment about Chiaki was published!! ^___^ They never published my comments before so I was happy. (I'm really glad this specific comment was chosen because the Seiyuu category is the most important one for me. The second is BLCD.)

I love when seiyuu interact with the BL wins. I wish more would do that.
I'm excited to think that on next year's BL Award we would probably get to vote for the His Little Amber and Pink heart Jam BLCDs! (which we only got announcements for but no cast reveal yet)

Well. There’ve been better years I must say. For me at least.
The only thing I got right was Best Next Generation: I voted for Kono Te wo Hanasanaide and it got 1st place. I love it mostly because Chiaki was in this BLCD, but I also like the original manga. They’re a cute couple, and Aji & Chiaki did really well in the BLCD.
For Best Comic I voted for Pink Heart Jam, and it got 2nd place which was nice. Still waiting for a BLCD with my dream cast for this couple!
For Best Series I chose Mask Danshi wa Koishitakunai no ni but it didn’t even make the Top 20. Weird. But hey, it got an OAD while others not so that’s a plus!
For Best Erotic I chose pop one's cherry, which got 15th place.
I’ve said before that the most important categories for me are Best BLCD and Best Seiyuu.
For some unknown reason, they only published the first 10 choices for the Best Seiyuu. I wonder why not the other 10 as well. :/
So, for Best BLCD I chose Fake Fact Lips, with Kuma x Chiaki. It got 5th place. I really like this BLCD, their banter is always hilarious to listen to. Also, the manga art is beautiful. They’re a gorgeous couple *-*
You can guess my choice for Best Seiyuu but sadly, this year, he didn’t make the Top 10. Maybe he’s in the Top 20 but they didn’t publish the rest :(
Soma got 1st place again. His second time I think. He also got 2nd place before. Takuchan got 2nd place, and their BLCD 25ji, Akasaka de 2 got 1st place.
I’ll be waiting for next year’s round. Maybe I’ll have more luck with my favs :(

Hizamazuite Ai o Tou won 3rd place for Best BLCD! I voted for this one of course!! 😭 I’m so happy it was loved by many!
Last year the manga won Best Newcomer, and this year the BLCD got so high and the seiyuu got so much praise, I’m crying with happiness!
Chiaki won 9th place!!! Seii-chan won 14th!
Impressive for Chiaki to get into the Top 10! He’s only started doing BLCD last year and he’s already so loved - as he should be!! <3
