ChillChill initially emerged as an indexing and community site but later became a portal with news and interviews surrounding BL media. It is now the main reference point for the genre in Japan.

Since 2009, they have been hosting the annual BL Award. This year, Saezuru volume 9 is in its contest for Best BLCD, with votes closing next Sunday (08/02).
