Uuugh I agree with everything you’ve said here. I’ve avoided fandom with MEA so hard because I got sick of people whining and being entitled.
I know right. I think that’s partially the reason why I didn’t get into the game as much as I could have. A lot of people (including people I love like Achievement Hunter and Funhaus) shit on the game and it kinda made me feel stupid for enjoying it.
It just annoys me how people want the impossible from games like these. I’ve seen similar posts about DAI where they wanted these ridiculous companion quests where you go to all these locations with so many people to interact with. Like, come on guys, the developers only have so many resources, give them a break. I bet even if they had put all of that in there people would then complain it’s not done well enough or the graphics were poor as a result of focusing on story.
Sorry that got kinda long, aha, I just hate how critical people are of games when they literally have no knowledge of how one’s made. Stop focusing on the bad and focus on the good, guys. At the end of the day it’s just a fucking game.
