you cant just make a show, where from the start, its set up to be this crazy simulation that touches on the psychological horror of being trapped in a simulation along with other people, with no escape, and has alot of lore and plot devices with the entire cast of characters, especially the fucking employee, and then just throw it all out the window to hyperfocus one side/main character halfway through the show and just not expect people to get upset about it?? man i understand what yall were trying to go for but holy cow this could have been executed way better.

after all the toxic, draining shit touya's been through, he's insanely appreciative of the simple, some may even say boring life he's built with you.

he likes flipping pancakes for you in the morning, taking care of a cat with you, and watching cheesy dramas with a glass of wine. any vanilla shit you do together, he adores it. he likes being seen as "baby" and "my love" rather than dabi, the cold villain who burnt down a hospital and tried to kill his own family.

he likes finally being able to take things slow, absorbing the gentle moments he's surrounded by. he doesn't have to wake up, immediately thinking over his life and thinking what the fuck. he feels free.
