Author’s note: Honestly, I think all of them would hold you but also try and figure out why you’re feeling down and just be straight up sweethearts until you cheer up back to your normal self but here’s their individual reactions 😊
Taeil: I feel like Taeil would be the member to ask you why you’re down first after your long embrace and comfort you later. He gives off that feeling of taking priority in fixing the problem before even attempting to tell you everything is going to be okay. Because what if everything’s not okay? After you tell him what’s got you down though he will be quick to help you fix it and he would be by your side comforting you all the way. You guys would probably just cuddle and eat junk food while watching a movie or binge watch some TV show.
Johnny: He will hug you while trying to communicate with you at the same time. He wouldn’t be able to comfort you unless you talk to him. Communication is key with Johnny. He will comfort you no matter what though.
Taeyong: He would hold you so tight you’d think you’re going to explode. Taeyong would spend the rest of the day comforting you with ice cream and cuddles. He won’t even ask you what’s wrong because he would just know you’re upset and that’s enough to make him do everything in his power to make you feel better.
Yuta: I see Yuta being the only one to pull away before the hug gets too long so that he can spend more time trouble shooting the reason you’re down. He would then, after talking to you and making sure that you’ll be okay, proceed to cuddle and hold you like you need to be cuddled and held.
Doyoung: He would spend the rest of the day trying to make you feel better and he will take care of you. He will probable try and just relate to how you’re feeling and do what he thinks would cheer you up because he hates seeing you upset.
Jaehyun: Just being around him you would make you cheer up. But if it’s more serious he’ll hold you in his arms without saying a word and when you guys pull apart he’ll be his adorable self and tell you to cheer up and that everything will be okay while being as cute as can be until you do cheer up.
WINWIN: He would most likely do what the other members do to cheer him or the others up. I get the feel he goes by example Because he has no real experience. He would hold you and then he would be like Taeil and watch a movie with you and try and make you feel better by watching a comedy or something.
Mark: Probably has no clue what to do. He would most likely freak out and just be completely still until you let go. Then ask if you’re okay just so it shows that he actually cares. Maybe he’d cuddle you a bit too after the initial shock of the long hug.
Haechan: Might as well hug someone else. He would probably run away from you and ask one of the older members what he should do. Then he’d come back to see you’re still down and do what the members advised him to do so you can be happy again.
