Blogilates | Day One
Hello dolls,
Today, I figured it was time for a change. I've slacked off far too long. I decided to finally move forward to a more positive, and healthy life style!
I started the Blogilates Beginners Calendar today, and day one's workout was the video "POP Pilates For Beginners - Total Body Workout". I will link the video below for those who are interested in joining this journey with me, and also the calendar itself!
During the workout today, I really felt my abs, arms, and legs! The title is true to its word when it says it is a total body workout. I am excited to see future results!!! xoxo.
Always, AnniBabyy.

Disclaimer: I do not own any of these videos. They all belong to Cassey Ho (Blogilates). www.blogilates.com or www.youtube.com/blogilates/
Instead of following the popular crowd on a third channel, I opted to pop my POP Pilates cherry with Blogilates' most recent upload: a seemingly innocent express workout that turned out to be 5 full minutes of insane ab torture.
Cassey Ho gets mad props for talking nonstop throughout a fast-fitness routine thrust straight from the abs-on-fire depths of hell. Rather than strap on an Armour39, I should just attempt to hold full-on conversations with myself during killer workouts to gauge my endurance from here on out.

Pretty disappointed in Week 2 Meal Plan of Blogilates New Body Makeover. It's the exact same thing for M1 and M2 all week!
Fuck that! I like variety!!! I'll probably just sub Week 1 meals or something... I hope she mixes it up more next week!
Finally got my password for the 12 week #newbodymakeover 1st week. Very excited! Already made my shopping list :)
Let's Do This!!!!
Blogilates' 90 Days Challenge: 60 Day Progress Report (Part 1)
Okay, lots to say here. First off, I am not feeling my best today. Feeling a little depressed because I didn't progress as much as I wanted to (or in some areas, at all) and I will outline the reasons for you soon. More details on what I ate today later, when I do my daily logs.
Anyway, this post will be about how I've been eating for the past 30 or so days, my exercise routines lately, how I'm feeling about the experience, my goals for the next 30 days, and finally, my measurements and progress so far. That's a LOT of stuff, so I will be breaking it down into two posts. The first will be about the foods I've been eating, and my exercise routines. The second will be about how I'm feeling about the whole experience, future goals and my measurements. For the most part, I am covering what I've done from day 30 to day 60. This will be the first post.
Well, here it goes.
Food:
So for the past 30 days, I haven't been able to follow the meal plan as closely as I should have. By this, I mean I would be disqualified if I could be. But of course, no one's making me do this, so I play by my rules.
The reason being was that for two and a half week straight, it was event after event. It all started at the end of the first 30 days. In Canada, Thanksgiving is in October. I had my dinner with my family, and it wasn't so bad; I let myself indulge. Then from there, I let myself loosen up about things a bit more. Then, closer to Halloween, I started eating a few candies and chocolates here and there, and on Halloween I ate a little too much, but I was just like, "hey, it's Halloween. Whatever. I love Halloween. I'm not gonna let my worrying ruin this for me". And then I think my mentality for sticking on the meal plan wasn't as strong.
The next week, I went out quite a bit, then I had a string of family birthdays to go to, which meant FOOD. FOOD. FOOD. Admittedly, I ate a little too much. Finally, after November 8th (which was my brother's birthday) I decided to be a little more strict.
However, even though i was strict, I was only strict in the type of food I ate, but not the amount. So still, I was eating a few more calories than I could burn off, I suppose. Also, for the past two weeks, I had been eating some sugared Greek yogurt instead of the plain kind; frankly, the plain one is just kind of disgusting to me, and I don't have any berries around to throw into it (and I hate any other fruit with it). I chose the one with the lowest sugar content, but with sugar nonetheless.
I think if I had stuck to meal plan, I think I would see a bit more progress. I had also been frequently measuring and weighing myself; even though my eating habits became a little out of whack sometimes, I was still losing weight and inches so I didn't really care. I think it's catching up to me though.
Exercise:
So for exercise, I went out for more runs in the past 30 days, but overall, I think I've cut down a little on cardio. The amount of time I spent working out a day just wasn't practical for my lifestyle, and cardio was just getting a little boring for me. I know cardio is important, and that I should do more of it, but it's just hard for me to get excited about it.
I still follow Blogilates' videos. Now, I'm a little more strict on the amount of exercise I do, but that might be because I can do them a little bit better than I could before so I can actually make it through. For the past 16 days, I've been following the Novemburn calendar. I quite enjoy it, and I am starting to notice bigger changes in my body. I try to exercise 5 times a week, for 45+ minutes each time.
Um, that's all I can think of to say for those two things. This post is already getting quite long. The second post will be up shortly. I'm gonna take a small break from typing now.
Day 2 (Ab time! & ABC Abs)
Hello again. This will be my second entry today.
I spent the whole day studying and putting make up on. I realised that I haven't been out of this apartment for 4 days. So, I took the extra time to wear something nice (been wearing pyjamas for 4 days straight!) and went out for sushi and coffee.
I also had a wonderful time in the coffee shop, reading my notes and had a large size Ginger Latte.
I've procrastinated a lot on the idea of even working out today, but I did it at 10pm and I know that's a little late, but I did it anyway :)
POP Pilates for Beginners: Ab Time!
For this routine, it was not that hard for me, I really enjoyed it. Especially the usual roll up and the knee-to-elbow plank.
However, I couldn't finish the second video :(
ABC Abs! | POP Pilates
THIS WAS CRAZZYYYYY!!
It's not beginner at all, and I literally gave up for the second part. I think I have a long way to go, before I can master this routine.
I'll try again next week.
However, I did get the first part done. Spelling healthy food was definitely easier.
On the other hand, spelling cheap food was a painnnnnnn.
How was your workout? Let me know!
Love, (with very sore abs)
Sara
