I cannot speak for everyone but I think SkekZok somehow gives off parent vibes. Ngl whenever I write SkekZok in pretty much anything he always has the role of 'supportive dad friend' with everyone pretty much. Even with SkekSo, SkekSil, SkekTek, SkekNa, SkekMal(to some degree), & the list goes on! I remember reading a fanfic of a Skeksis OC(SkekTah) where one of the chapters showed Zok to give off parent vibes & it honestly just stuck with me.

I wouldn't say "parent friend" since he legetimately hates everyone around him exceptmaybeSkekVarbutevenhimannoyshim and he acts responsible not out of care but out of putting some sense into all the idiots who surround him, but oddly I really think that if he had a child or one that had survived, even though he would not be the most caring and emotionally present and woule be very demanding (to his oldest who is meant to be the next Ritual Master in my Natives AU at least) and strict instead, I think he would still globally be caring and love them. I really don't know why but when I see that classy manipulative selfish sadomasochistic psycho I STILL see him as those kind of villains who would not be the best parents sure but who would still legetimately see his kids as the only people that matter and not hesitate kill another child if they had just stolen his own child's candy (barely exagerated...). In fact I often joke with @dracocheesecake about how much of a Karen he would be : "WHAT DO YOU MEAN MY SON IS NOT ALLOWED TO DO THIS !? DO YOU KNOW WHO AM I !? I AM THE RITUAL MASTER ! I AM THE SECOND MOST INFLUENTIAL SKEKSIS AFTER THE EMPEROR ! SO IF I SAY HE WANTS TO DO IT, HE DOES IT OR I WILL SEE YOUR BOSS AND HAVE YOU THROWN IN JAIL !!! There honey you can now"

Thank @ben-the-hyena for the idea since in her script, young SkekSil was a dancer before making his way up to be a Chamberlain. ^^

Do you have any prompts where the villain is all like "child abuse is not my forte." Be it the villain telling the sidekick why they won't fight them or saving a toddler or teen from getting hurt. I like to imagine in one of them the hero's aim is shit & the villain ends up shielding a child from the blast & also keeping themselves from getting killed by using a shield. So actually 'shielding' from the blast.

“Why won’t you fight me! I’m perfectly capable of defeating you-”“I would destroy you,” the villain replied, calm as a still night, “and I have a policy against crushing the aspirations of children.”The sidekick flushed. “Beating you isn’t my only aspiration.”“Be that at is may, it is one of them, and I don’t enjoy beating up young people. Come back in a few years and I’m sure you’ll be able to take me in a fair fight.”Despite themself, the sidekick’s face lit up. “You really think so?”“Of course,” said the villain. “You’re going to be a real powerhouse. Of course,” their smile slid from indulgent to amused, “I said ‘fair’ fight, and we both know I never fight fair.”

“But…why?”The villain looked down, the hero’s unconscious sidekick in their arms. “What did you think I was going to do with them?”The hero wiped the last of the panicked tears from their eyes. “Hurt them. torture them for information, or for fun. Something despicable. Something villainous.”The villain’s expression tightened. “Perhaps some villains would, but child abuse isn’t my forte.”

God, if the hero had more than one brain cell they would have realised there was a kid in play before blasting the area with lethal radiation. “Was not.”“Were too! You’re a villain and only villains say bad words. Momma says so.”“And I suppose you want to be a hero when you grow up?”The kid shook their head, smile conspiratorial. “Villains,” they declared triumphantly, “don’t have to eat their vegetables.”The villain had to laugh at that.

Tbh the 'squeaking defeats choking' hc came from a small AU I have where the crystal somwhow de-ages SkekSil(only him) to like baby form & now Zok is basically given the task of parent while SkekTek figures out different ways(his age will slowly get bumped up/not a normal aging process) to bring Sil back up adult age. Thought a teenage SkekSil squeaking was cute in my head so yeah.

Lmao just when @glitterfilledtrashcan told me their HC/AU/joke that UrSol and SkekSil were much younger and babies who grew up to a little shit and every Skeksis regretting not to have drowned him as a Skekling or something

Oh damn I haven’t even thought about Fangs, kudos to u for making me work for this ask. Fangs of course would only view pokemon as tools and doesn’t really have a “team” per se but like. Minions. He doesn’t have a full team either because he doesn’t think he needs it (vampires are still a thing in this world, have I mentioned?). Anyway, in no particular order (under the cut):

More on the roommate AU thing. I can see Rava confusing Fangs by going in the little room under the stairs when Fangs needs to throw a fit. I don't think he'd question it the first few times bc he'd be full of rage, but he'd prob be curious later? Truth be told Rava doesn't do close combat & prefers to fight at range. Why? Because he cries easliy. So Rava taking a hit or a slap would result in the waterworks coming on.

1. I would protect Rava. 2. HonestlyFangs doesn’t get physically aggressive in a throwing punches way. He’s like.Slow torture and mind games kinda guy, and that’s usually just with his preyunless another vamp gets in his way or pisses him off.
