Correct me if I’m wrong, but does this mean we’ll get to see the short flashback of Dietrich and Vincent at Weston? I’m pretty sure it’s when Alexis is talking at the party before the cricket tournament.

Alexis' flashback

The Weston arc does include Alexis' flashback about how Diedrich became Vincent's fag at school. And a quick flashback about the Miracle of the Sapphires or Blue Miracle.

Though the Blue Miracle isn't central to the story, it suggests that Vincent did something underhanded for that win, just like his son.

And the part about Vincent and Diedrich helps explain why Diedrich is so loyal, even after Vincent's death.

I'd be appalled if either of those gets left out.

die Strichliste von der ich gestern gesprochen habe sieht so aus: II Das hatten wir zuletzt schon bedeutend schlimmer, man könnte sagen beste Nacht diese Woche. Lasst uns gemeinsam auf Ursachenforschung begeben. Sonntag bin ich sehr spät ins Bett und hatte eine unruhige Nacht. Der Montag war dennoch Bombe. Am Abend sehr früh ins Bett und in der Nacht zum Dienstag rekordverdächtig oft wach geworden. Den Tag habe ich dann als Schlafwandler verbracht. Letzte Nacht trotz anderweitiger Vorhaben Recht spät im Nest gelandet, wie oben erwähnt „nur“ 2x aufgewacht und heute geht es mir gut.

Hach, wenn wir doch nur einen promovierten Schlafologen unter uns hätten, der hier ein Muster erkennen könnte. Ich bleib dran und verspreche euch zeitnah die Auswertung eines Schlaflabors.

Und damit ich nicht mein blaues Wunder erleben werde, starte ich jetzt in meinen Arbeitstag, denn die Schweine von heute sind die Schinken von morgen 🥴

Ohhh, und wie ist es euch ergangen? Fühlt ihr euch eher als Schwein oder Schinken heute morgen?

Flashback to ch75, McMillan and father

I was rereading that chapter about the Blue Miracle and how Diedrich became Vincent’s fag at Weston.

McMillan introduces himself to Alexis Midford...

...and then Alexis tells the story about the Blue Miracle and the bet between Vincent and Diedrich.

When Vincent wins the game for Blue House, look who is one of the people holding Vincent aloft!

Considering the timeline, this has to be McMillan’s father. They looked almost exactly alike. Look at that hair! 🤣

Father... and son:

I see no significance beyond the well-known fact that the boys tended to attend the same school as their fathers. But it’s a cute little detail. McMillan is witnessing a Blue Miracle, just like his father did. And now we know exactly how McMillan knew about it. It was safe to assume, but this is proof.
