Just saw a video on TikTok where a bunch of firefighters went to JCPenney's to get awkward photo shoots, but can you IMAGINE IT'S like Bobby's birthday, AND EVERYONE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT TO GET THE MAN WHO FIRMLY DOESN'T WANT PRESENTS.

Then Buck's eyes sparkle when he's flipping through TikToks and sees the video and shows everyone.

Everyone agrees wholeheartedly. May and Harry tag along, too, wanting to get one for Athena, and somehow secretly drag Buck into the family photo.

Everyone is taking photos together. They coordinate with the night shift, who also want to get some made for their captain. All of the 118 are there in matching ugly sweaters. Then the core, Chim, Hen, Buck, Eddie, and Ravi. Everyone laughs and has a blast.

They take a lot of photos and get them in a book, so when it's time for Bobby's birthday, they elected Chim to hand it to their dead captain. Bobby gives a look, then smiles and opens it. He's confused by the fancy 118 engraving on the front of a red hardcover. He opens the book and laughs out, cheeks red. At some point, he's laughing hard because how the hell did they make the old grumpy lieutenant sit and wear an ugly sweater? He doesn't realize he's crying from laughing now.

"Oh god, this is the best present ever," Bobby says as he wipes the tears from his eyes.

Later that night, May gives him another book. "I figured you wanted this when everyone is gone. Happy birthday," she says before leaving him alone in bed. Athena shuts the door.

"Another photo album?" she says.

"I guess," he says, tired from the party. They settle in bed, and he reads the "Family" font in the front.

When he opens the book, he sees a collection of family photos. His family. His wife and kids.

He swallows hard.

Then his and Athena's wedding.

Then the children's photos. His kids.

He finally flips to a few and laughs, seeing Buck posing with May and Harry. Buck is lying down on the bottom, Harry is on top of him, and then May is right on top. They're all smiling and tilting their heads. There are more hilarious poses of them as he flips through.

"I'll bet you anything he didn't know," Athena says with a chuckle.

"Knowing him? He probably did deep down," Bobby says. He holds this book extra tight and places it next to the nightstand on his side.

"You're ordering copies, are you?" Athena says.

"God, yes."

I love how I've been driving in my little clown car, mutuals and all, headed towards a Bobby is Jesus reveal, and this episode Buck went to confession and got a whole damn earthquake as a sign, Athena isn't selling their house, Hen didn't take the offer for captain, and it was literally centered on people from previous episodes returning, so this clown car isn't a clown car it's a full on Bugatti competing in the Grand Prix and we're speeding straight towards that sexy ass finish line faster than the speed of light.

i truly hate that i’m one of those 911 fans that can’t watch anymore post bobby death. like i keep up, and i enjoy watching everyone else enjoy the show, but everytime i try to start an episode and remember bobby is dead i can’t do it. sometimes i forget im mentally ill. rn is not one of them

Hen and Karen have gone to pride a couple of times but decided it wasn't for them due to the crowds and noise

Even though they hate the crowds+noise of pride, Hen and Karen went to Buck's first pride with him

Buck is the resident cocktail maker of the 118 for parties (but he definitely has a heavy pour)

Maddie was a theatre kid in highschool, which makes Buck a little too knowledgeable on musicals

Athena had a wedding dress picked out and bought from when she was engaged to Emmett, she never wore it for obvious reasons. May wears that dress on her wedding day.

Bobby cries like a baby when May tells him that he's gonna be a grandpa

When Bobby is off work, you can find him napping on the couch with a book on his chest

When you try and wake him up, he says he's 'still reading, just resting his eyes'

Chim really likes cheesy romance novels, only Maddie knows

Maddie either sleeps in the fetal position or completely starfishes, no in between. She is also a blanket stealer

Hen slept with her childhood stuffed animal until she moved in with Karen

I am still on the Alive Bobby train because of...

The death scene being a reference to Wrath of Kahn's fake death, confirmed by Tim in an interview and referenced by Oliver.

A script leak from the actors themselves confirming Bobby is alive. The format of the script matches the officially released scripts we have. It is the last page of the script so unlikely to be a dream or hallucination sequence.

The Hotshots storyline when the Captain played by Brad is teased to be dead but then woken up from a coma. A scene talking about how killing the Captain would be a big mistake and ruin the Fire Family. Then on the night of the funeral Oliver posts and quickly deletes photographs of Brad.

The cast joking with having to look fake-sad throughout the funeral filming. Including Kenny who later acts to be angry and devastated about the decision.

The flash of white when Chimney received the antiviral, the same as when Buck entered his coma. The blood was gone from his face after the flash. Bobby was also dead in Buck's coma dream.

The shot of Bobby's helmet on the ground paralleling the shot of Buck's helmet when he temporarily died.

Chimney stealing the lab rat tested with the antiviral.

Kenny fan interactions and liking a comment that he didn't actually say Bobby is dead. Ryan simply reposting a joke post about his death and Oliver not having much to say besides the Wrath of Kahn reference.

Peter is still on set. He was there alongside Gerrard's actor so it is unlikely to be flashbacks. He was not wearing the clothes Bobby "died" in as you would expect for a ghost. Oliver removed the sound from his story once fans noticed you could hear Peter in the background.

Fakeouts throughout the 2-parter such as Madney's gender reveal cake, Bobby believed to be dead for a few seconds after the explosion, and Athena not being in the helicopter.

Filming a major spoiler with no basic efforts to hide it such as editing his name on another jacket or pretending Peter was in the line up. Oliver carelessly spoiling the "death" just before the episode started with his Instagram comments.
