#DEADLIFTTILLIMDEAD repost from @liftthisweight ・・・ Sumo is basically the only way I'm able to deadlift right now since I strained my groin a while back. Doing a push pull meet in two weeks, and this is probably the last heavy work I'll do until then. My sumo still isn't great, but it's making some progress. Pulled from these 2 inch blocks the other day, and it's then heaviest work I've done in a long while. Wasn't exceptional, but it was successful. 500 plus 120lbs in chains. On my heavy days with the squat or deadlift, I always wear at least single ply briefs. This is an old single ply suit with the straps down. Save your hips while still lifting heavy, and doing overload work! Raw lifting is great, but don't tear yourself up! Too many people don't utilize the benefits of gear to keep their bodies safe.
