Look, I get the wish for for LGBT characters in kotlc, but y'all do realize, that the lost cities would 100% be homophobic right?

I am not saying, that that is a reason for Shannon not to do it. Like the friendgroup is so crowded by now, just look at the statistics (I personally have my eye on some candidates as well...looking at you marella)

So I would definitely support the idea.

But lets be real.

The lost cities have basically introduced genetic fascism. Everything has the goal to produce the biggest possible genetic potential. Where do you think a couple, that cannot "naturally" have children will rate in their minds?

They would either make any gay kid an "unmatchable" or just ignore their sexual orientation.

And I think that that would be pretty painful to read.

Because so far the discrimminations are maybe allegories, but with that new level, so many readers could directly relate to the hostility theyre confronted with.

I still believe, that if Shannon decided to make it happen, she would have to Stick with the canon, even if it makes her cities a great deal more hatable on top.

Not saying it shouldnt be done, it could as well show many kids, that even if the world is against you, the right people will never care.

But you have to be real about what youre really asking for.

sorta spoiler for scholomance but i finished the scholomance trilogy(?) today and ughhhh it nearly filled the void harry potter had given me. i loved it. where is scholomance tumblr i need it immediately i'm so conflicted by el x orion & el x liesel cuz orion is cute but i wasn't attached to him as much as the first two books. liesel and el surprised me, confused me (cuz el was literally like dreaming abt orion within hours), and made me so happy because yay casual bi/pan characters!
