I made a little journaling game for the  Shitpost TTRPG Jam & Bookmark Microgame-jam 2024: Jersey Devils Don't Pump Gas! You meet the Jersey Devil in PA, and they cannot pump their gas because they're a Jersey girl/boy/person.

a mini journaling game: Jersey Devils Don't Pump Gas!

You happen to pull up to a Pennsylvania gas station at the same time as the Jersey Devil.  Problem: they don't know how to pump their own gas.  Also, it's snowing hard as hell right now.

1. Describe the Jersey Devil.  What do they look like? What brings them to down to PA?  And what draws them to you?

2. How do you help the Jersey Devil pump their gas? Do you notice their predicament, or do they ask you for help?  Are you able to help them, or does someone else have to step in?

3. Once the gas situation is dealt with, the Jersey Devil explains they're going somewhere special for Christmas.  Where are they going?  Why are they going there?

4. Do the two of you part ways at this point?  Or do you join them, or perhaps they join you?

5. How does your story end?  Or is it just beginning?  If the two of you join up, where do you go?  If you both part ways, what are your parting words?

Fuck, Marry, Kill - Bookmark Edition

Thank you so much for the tag @wellbelesbian! I kept seeing these, and was wanting to do one as well! 😊

Admittedly, I've been deep in the Drarry rabbit hole. I HAVE started to climb out, and I'll probably be asking you guys for fic recs from the last year of written content because I am SO BEHIND, and from what I've seen in snippets, there is some GREAT content being created. I've decided to only include fics that are completed, and that weren't gifted to me.

FUCK: Dare by @mostlymaudlin. Two of my Top Three bookmarks are from the same person. I devoured this fic! It was such a great read! It wasn't an E-Rated fic (which honestly, not having an E-Rated fic as my top three bookmarks was shocking to me), but still a really yummy read!

MARRY: Missing by @bookish-bogwitch and oxizzz. absolutely ADORED this fic. The magic spells were super creative, the rescue and care was top notch. I'm also a sucker for Simon-Rescues-Baz fics, so that's a sure fire way to win my heart.

KILL: Jump Up, Chosen One! by @mostlymaudlin. Look, my dear, I've got TWO of your fics in my Top Three bookmarks, and between this one and Dare, I choose this one to kill. I am sorry! I wouldn't kill any fic, and honestly this fic is one of my favourites. It still comes highly recommended. It is really silly, and funny, and a great read!

I've seen several people doing this exercise with their own fics, so I'm going to join in.

FUCK: keep me warm (the go and kiss him remix) - In my opinion, this is the hottest fic I've written out of my E-Rated fics. I LOVE the Remix Fest, it's one of my favourite fests. The original fic this fic is based on is SO FUCKING HOT, and one of my favourites from the author. So yeah, definitely putting this one here.

MARRY: Thighs and Prejudice - Snarky, manipulative Agatha, sexy billiards lessons, Jane Austen references, and an Ode to Simon Snow's Arse... Honestly, this is 10/10 marriage material.

KILL: The Words I Long To Say - It occurs to me that the last few fics I've written have all been for fests. And it's a little sad that I'm killing the COTTA fic. I would have put this under Marry, but the mood is more somber in this fic than the others I've written... So, by process of elimination, it's gotta go here.

I think mostly everyone's done this by this point... But I'm going to tag some friends anyway. Sorry if you've already done this. I've tried to tag those whom I haven't seen.
