Do you have a #bookstabestie 📚 I have quite a few wonderful friends that I would call my bookstabestie, but only one is my very own fabulous #bookfairy and that’s Tracy the beauty behind @thepagesinbetween 🧚🏻♀️ in case you aren’t sure what a book fairy is, this stack, and the book I’m holding, is a nearly four foot tall representation of how she makes all my bookish dreams come true 😍 through exchanges, gifts, and sending me doubles of books she gets and knows I’ll love, she has spoiled me beyond spoiled! When I saw how many books she’s sent me over the last year and a half, I may or may not have conjured a black tear. Just one though, I do have a reputation to uphold! 📚 I hesitated posting this because I’m not trying to brag, or make anyone feel bad. But after a very passionate and feminist convo last night with @bookwnoname we agreed that as women we are taught to minimize. We’re trained to be humble and complimentary. To not brag or be proud of our accomplishments. To be not too loud, not too brash, not too much. And I think sometimes that extends on here. We don’t want to show #bookmail or if someone sends us something because we don’t want to make others feel bad. And how crazy is that?! Friendships are amazing and take so many different shapes. So if you have someone you love, tell them. And if you’ve accomplished something you’re proud of, brag on! Now, I have chapters to get done so I can send them and I’ll be done reading this stack in approximately 12 years 😂😂😂 Tracy I love ya babe! Rock on and don’t ever change! 🤘🏻☠️🤘🏻 (at Book Fairy) https://www.instagram.com/p/BpPvXxNnrDZ/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1g1bqgj18t2zn
