✨ Happy New Year ✨

Excited to share with you all I finished my 4th draft December 31st - major cuts - and I just finished preparing my manuscript for my EDITOR!!

They will polish it and let me know if there are any major concerns and get back to me. If all goes well, then it's cover art, internal book art, and then agent hunting 🤞

(in the meantime, while I wait, I'm going to catch up on some work I've been neglecting - so keep an eye out!)

I'm a few steps closer to having it ready for you all! I can't wait for you to read it 💐

And remember, fresh starts can happen whenever you're ready. Go with the moon, the trees, or the tides, just take your first step and keep going!

Whew! Time sure flies so fast. I have been busy at work lately so it looks like we're gonna have to kick off the end of the month with more clues and ground-breaking mysteries in this upcoming chapter. As much as I love living in Australia, I still kind of miss the Philippines.

Another thing is it sucks how there's an ongoing bias towards authors who come from certain backgrounds or countries. This isn't just a writer's thing, but it could happen in other industries. Imagine being turned down all because they didn't like your country.

Even though it's in English, imagine my surprise when I discover the number of readers I've gotten overtime from various countries in South America, Mexico, Germany, the UK, India, Australia, Indonesia and the Netherlands across my works.

Another thing is if you think the book is not your cup of tea, at least recommend it to someone else who might actually enjoy it. Don't quickly write authors out because you couldn't get into the stuff they write about. It would mean a lot if you're somehow able to help a small indie author find their audience.

I'm also challenging myself to see if I could reach 50K until this year's Wattys! (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

By the way, not sure when it's gonna be. They keep changing it as it used to start around September- October and later July-August in 2022.
