Meet Lt. Col. Dalia Miller — 67 years old, mother of three, grandmother of two, and one of the fiercest volunteer officers in the Border Guard. She’s spent decades protecting Israel’s north, leading 130 volunteers, running mobile patrols, and showing up for every shift like it’s her first day in uniform. A retired teacher, a farmer, a community builder — and a woman who says, without blinking: “If I encounter a terrorist, he will leave that encounter neutralized.” She went to officer training at 55.
