Chapter 9: Verso

The long awaited moment is finally here ! Gustave and Verso finally meet in person. What will happen now ? How are they going to react ? This chapter is the biggest to date, I hope you'll like it !

Aaaaaand you have it ! After more than 100 pages (god) they're finally able to talk to each other ! Sorry for the slow burn up until this point, I hope it was worth it !

The story will obviously continue, but I'm gonna take a break : first because this chapter drained me I'm not gonna lie xD (need to do something else a bit, like sleep) and also because I need a little bit of time to properly write the following chapters ! I have ideas, but I must organize them into a cool story that holds together. I hope you will like it.

I've been thinking about Borrowers again and art prompts and I was thinking, Borrower Lan Wangji? Whether the Lans are Borrowers and WWX is human, the Lans are borrowers and WWX is too, or just Lan Zhan getting shrunk for your borrower AU... What if he was Small 💖 He deserves a little Small!

Lan Wangji is already a pretty quiet guy, can you imagine what a terror he would be as a borrower?? 😂

(also we always focus on Wei Wuxian getting Lan Wangji's ribbon, but what about Lan Wangji getting Wei Wuxian's clarity bell? ...whether he wants it or not in this case)

Idea! In a taumoeba doesn't escape and ryland goes to earth, what if he finds small "probes" (as many as you want) and basically find small humans from another dimension and size (aka around the size of his hand). Or they could mutated from the eel.

Basically I want the humans from iron lung to be small, maybe mutated - and find themselves with hail Mary full of grace who is going back to earth(!!!!) and saving the stars AND has plants (wish fulfillment).

Basically ryland gets company, has plant farm and enough food for himself + companions, and Simon (+whoever else gets "saved") have stars, plants, new (as in actually new) clothes and almost free reign of earth technology, food and comfort.

Also just imagine them staying by windows watching stars, by plants ect

Thinking they are dead and getting to experience this. Then realizing it isn't a dream.

Borrowers are very resourceful! How else will they get to the fridge? Just uh... don't tell the Tortuga crew where all the jewelry went! Borrowers don't steal on purpose for malicious purposes after all, they're just getting around spaces made for giants with whatever is available!
