Hi! I just watched this movie the other night, and I was so surprised when Oscar jumped out of a tree. I had no idea he was in the movie! And I thought of you because whoa he looks really cute in a beanie and winter gear for some reason. 😁
Oh, he's so beautiful in this movie! I daydream that not only was I the one he fell in love with (that got him in trouble and sent to the back of beyond), but that he lived and came back for me. Hey, imagination is what I got! LOL
As a Filipino, even though “The Bourne Legacy” is a decent spy-thriller, I could not take it seriously when I got to the third act. There’s just something absurdly hilarious watching Hawkeye and Evelyn O’Connell run around Manila, getting yelled at by Filipina moms and getting into car chases without the usual traffic. Seriously though, if the traffic in the Philippines hasn’t changed since I left, then there wouldn’t even be a chase.
Also, Jeremy Renner speaking Tagalog got a lot of chuckles from me and my family. Like, it wasn’t bad, it was just awkward. Still, I give credit to the movie for not being as racist as I thought it’d be. They actually portrayed the Philippines somewhat decently.
