Please stop attacking the past versions of you. They were doing their best at the time and they got you here. It’s amazing how much progress you’ve made and how much you’ve grown but please don’t think your past self lacked worth in any way.

I wanted to share these here too. They’ve been helping me a lot lately and I wanted to make sure I spread them in case they can help anyone else too. There’s more on her tik tok too!

I shouldn’t assume if I’m good enough for someone else. That is their choice and opinion if I’m good enough for them.
Watch the lights and repeat after me:
I am worthy.
I am loved.
I am safe and cared for.
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am deserving of love.
My mind is clear. My mind is mine.
I am loved.
The best way to make amends is changed behaviour.
Just because they’re mad at you doesn’t mean they no longer love you.
Someone not responding to you right away does not mean that you’re not important to them. I know it can be hard, but other people are allowed to be busy, or even just not have the energy to respond to you. This doesn’t mean they don’t care about you.
It’s okay to want reassurance but it’s your responsibility to ask for it in a healthy way, not demand it in panic, not hint at it with passive aggression or test your loved ones.
