If someone asks me why Tony was so “cool-hearted” to Peter in the beginning of Homecoming, I would say he was trying to not be too attached with Peter. He was NOT YET accepting the fate that he was going to become a father figure for someone, or specifically avoid becoming a man like his father. He tried to stay away until later when he was so ready to accept Peter as his son.

Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man 4’ Gets Official Title, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ Ahead of Summer Filming

Peter Parker’s next big-screen adventure has been officially titled “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” Director Destin Daniel Cretton confirmed at CinemaCon that the highly anticipated fourth installment will begin filming this summer.

Although Tom Holland couldn’t attend the annual convention for movie theater owners in Las Vegas, he sent a video message teasing the upcoming superhero film.

“I am so sorry I can’t be with you. I am halfway around the world shooting a movie,” said Holland, who is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” alongside Matt Damon, Zendaya, and Anne Hathaway.

Reflecting on the shocking ending of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” Holland added, “I know we left you with a massive cliffhanger, so ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is a fresh start. It is exactly that. That’s all I can say.”
