Brigid / St. Brigid: English Version
With your touch
I find relief
from suffering,
and I heal from my pains.
With your fingers
you create treasures
from the dust of the earth
and the flames of the forge.
With your hands
you tell stories of distant lands,
and give voice to the soul.
With your prayer,
clear as water,
you take me to heaven
with a serene soul
and maternal love,
while you place in my hands
a straw cross.

Happy Imbolc my fellow witches! I made a tiny little altar in a cup that I saw somewhere on tumblr and it’s too cute. Just some salt, lavender, rosemary and bay leaves, don’t forget the candle!
Imbolc Altar
I went out for a walk today, collecting flowers, seeds and straw to decorate my altar. The straw I used for my first Brigid's Cross, which I think turned out pretty well!
On the altar are also dried petals, lemon peel, quartz, bloodstone, amethyst, garnet, moonstone and hematite.
Since Brigid is associated with crafts and creations, I made a chainmaille chain and a small spring charm.
I welcome spring and hope that those in the colder parts of the world can see the sun is returning!
Sláinte chugat!!

Made a yellow cake mix and did some crazy additions.
Got some blackberries this morning. Juiced and strained them. Mixed the juiced berries into the cake mix with some cream cheese too. Took the juice and made BlackBerry syrup. Had my husband pick up some vanilla icecream.
Happy Imbolc 🕯🌱
