My character Brixia as she appears at the end of the book. It's a rough book for her in places. But I enjoyed writing her arc -- she was another one of those characters who kept insisting on being more nuanced than I'd originally seen her as.

Brixia team for Serie A 2017

For the first two competitions of the championship, the team will be made up of Giorgia Villa, Asia D’Amato, Alice D’Amato, Noemi Linari, and Martina Maggio (her team is actually Robur et Virtus, but she was “lent” to Brixia for the championship since Robur isn’t competing in Serie A). This way, the juniors can start testing their preparation and upgrades for EYOF, and the new seniors for Euros. Martina will only compete one or two events, since her knee is still healing.

In the second part of the championship, the goal is to gradually reintroduce Martina Rizzelli, Erika Fasana, and Sofia Busato (plus Martina Maggio on all 4 events), as they recover from their injuries/get back to full training rhythm in view of Worlds.

Vanessa Ferrari’s recovery is progressing well, but she’s not planning on being back in competition in 2017.
