Wasted hours standing here at the end of the road,

Hoping for an emergence of something,

That could rebuild all the broken parts of my heart,

Trying to find a way to escape,

To break away from this toxic atmosphere,

To unfold my eyes to a whole new beginning,

Praying to save whatever remains from my wounded soul,

But the salty drops of rain washes this thought,

Carrying upon these small streams of water,

A flicker of the infinite possibilities of a different kind of life...

Crucial times that I have spent,

Staring into the oblivion,

Thoughts racing through my mind,

Tearing deeply causing all of this bleeding,

Haunted by your absence,

It only hurts because I allow it,

Trying to find peace in my loneliness,

But nothing makes it better,

Because you were once my home,

Someone who I looked up to,

Only you knew how to light up this frail heart,

As I counted the days until you came back,

To hold me in your arms,

But nothing stopped you from leaving...

Much turbulence has passed my way,

Paralisation numbing every limb,

Staring into the oblivion,

Shutting down every emotion left in me,

Feeling this was the best choice I had,

Cutting myself off from those around me,

I couldn't stand to see the wicked grins,

Of the fools who laughed at my expense,

Sacrificing my sanity to play the game,

To overthrow my enemies,

Who compromised my integrity,

Attempting to cause me such agony,

Showing them that even the ugliest seed,

Can also blossom into the most wonderful being...
