"Broken tablet" ending result
Do you remember the old event I started a while ago? Me neither!
Anyways I have completed the final drawing and FINALLY sharing everything in public.
Quickly what the event was about: A person gets an art and they should draw the same image in their style without any clues mentioned. Visual clues only. The person that is drawing was not able to see the previous steps (until now). The only text clue people were given is that they are drawing a Sans to not go crazy with drawing other characters.
Each art will have the artist's @ under it.
The description of image and changes is based purely on how it looks compared to the previous image.
First image - @deltarana44 (me)
Art is made in blue-ish tones. The Sans has markings under the eyes and the hollowed circles for eyelights. A big star-like object located behind the skeleton and the small white boxes with blue connections are filling the rest of empty space. Face markings, the star and the connections are all having the water texture added over it.
Second image - @sinner-shark
Most of the stuff stayed the same, including the water textures. The colors are seem to stay the same too but the shading adds an extra purplish color to the image.
Third image - @1-like-rice
The art is traditional instead of digital. Despite that some basic elements were recreated decently. The color is changed to be a lot more purple. Also the socks turned blue instead of white.
Fourth image - @deltaken44
Back to the digital style. Eye markings and white parts on the bottom of the cape were completely removed. Only one star at the top of the cape stayed. The background star turned into a cross. The background textures were fully removed, replaced with a single color. The boxes also stopped having the colored frame, only having connections.
Fifth image - @olisa-iwannasleep
A slight pose change and the connected boxes grew bigger in size. A slight visual change of some colors but overall the image stays close to the previous one.
Sixth image - @robot-st-art
The skeleton and the boxes got a yellow outline. The background cross got darker color on the edges and it is also in a slightly different shape.
Seventh image - @alisaretter
No global changes, the yellow outline got more noticeable.
Eighth image - @deltarana44 (me again)
I tried to recreate the last image while still staying in my style. Some stuff are different because of the style but some stuff I changed because of the personal preference (like turn the leg slightly because it looked weird in my style)
I'm not as good at making events as some other people but the result is still fun to see. The difference between the first one and the last one is quite big and all because of combined human effort. If you feel like you did bad because of some random thing you did the image snowballed in a different direction then don't be because it's all part of the event!
People who are artists with active blogs, you can now freely post your pieces if you want to! I will do the same and make a separate post with my two arts a little bit later.
I have no idea if I will do the same event again but I might do something similar. I usually don't like to repeat the same idea twice so if you are interested in any kind of event let me know!
