soft jam headcanons!!

- despite being taller, jay really likes being held by tim. he feels safe in his arms and it gives him a chance to be close to tim

- they’re always touching in one way or another, whether that’s holding hands, leaning against each other, tim pressing his hand to the small of jay’s back, hugging from behind, or resting their head/chin on the other’s shoulder, they’re practically inseparable

- sometimes jay will walk up to tim and gently butt his head into tim's shoulder or back, it's one of those affectionate little headbops. though on darker days, he'll just press his face into tim’s upper back and stand there quietly until tim turns around and hugs him

- they have so many nicknames for each other (both serious and joking)

- tim’s favourite is “[baby] bear” and jay’s is “lovebug”

- when they're resting together, they sometimes alternate on who's snuggling who. jay likes the tactile feel of tim's hair (it's really soft and nice, jay appreciates it a lot) and will run his finger's through tim's hair. since tim has the stim where he does the same sort of gentle combing-scratching, it lulls tim to sleep REALLY fast, practically knocks him out.

- jay is not above using that when tim's stressed in order to get him to sleep.

- after rough days, they like to lie down and take turns listening to each other's breathing and heartbeats. keeps them both grounded and content kind of like “i'm here, i can hear you, alive and well beneath me”

- jay has a habit of wordlessly climbing into tim’s lap when he gets upset, burrowing into his arms, and hiding his face in tim’s neck. tim will rub his back and murmur quiet words of support to him, and kiss away his tears if jay starts crying

the most amazing connection

he wasn’t planning on falling in love

let alone get into a relationship

so how did you manage to change that?

he still asks you if you secretly hypnotized him sometimes

because he is WHIPPED

it is rare for him to get flustered

his quietness can be mistaken for shyness but he’s actually pretty confident

until you made him stumble over his own thoughts

and you’d think that would go away after a few months

but no

it’s most obvious when you compliment him

he gets that little smile while looking to the side

he still always lets you know he’s there

even if it’s just grabbing the remote

they’ve all become habits

but kisses are still just as special as the first one

no matter how often you kiss and how bold he gets with them

his heart still jumps the exact same way

when you cuddle he likes to be able to see your face

so it’s usually facing each other with your legs intertwined

or your head on his chest as he writes words on your back with his fingertips

his favorite is when you sit sideways on his lap, leaning against him

often waking up in the morning in the same position

without him really realizing

you could’ve had the worst freaking day and 5 minutes of listening to him speak would easy your mind

he brings out a feeling of security in you

so you never worry or feel jealous

he’s always very clear and you never have any doubts in his honesty

he also doesn’t get jealous that quickly

and when he does it never turns into a big deal

he feels that security just as much

which is why he never doubted your relationship either

eventhough it came unexpected and he wasn’t planning on it

Ok, so I’ve had this idea for the longest time in my head, please if someone likes it, just write it. On the meanwhile I’ll just make bulletpoints or something....

So with the whole Triplet! Mendes AU, I never knew if Shawn was the right guy for this, but our softie Raul is 100% perfect for this;

Of course we know he’s an artist, he grew up in a very creative home

Shawn has music, Peter had photography, he had paintings and drawings

He was always doodling on the sides of his notebooks and random papers he found at home

It wasn’t until his 15th birthday his dad bought him a set of drawing pencils

He started watching tutorials on YouTube, but he never liked them

So he just tried drawing everything that was around him

Now he’s 20, and even though it’s not the only thing he does, it’s still one of his favorite hobbies

Right now, he’s on a “drawing people’s faces” phase

He drew faces all the time, his family, people he knew, friends and even strangers

One day, as he worked on a café, he saw the prettiest girl ever

there was something about her that had Raul captivated

She ordered some weird beverage and he smiled at her, she was gentle and kind, and had a pretty smile

Like super pretty smile

Raul only had her first name, because he asked for it to write it on her cup of coffee. But he wasn’t brave enough to write his number on it, or even a cute little heart beside her name

Even though he was tempted to do it

He couldn’t get the image of her out of his mind all day

So when he arrived home, the first thing he did, was draw her

First it was just a quick drawing, not so much detail, a few shades. He was done with it after 10 minutes

But he needed to draw more, so he did

Eventually as the image of her was starting to fade out of his mind and finally was sticking to the paper, he tried adding colors

He was sure every color was right, her hair, her skin, her eyes, the little earrings she was wearing, but he couldn’t figure out the exact color of her lips

He tried multiple times with different shades of red and pink, but it was never THE color

He even went to Aaliyahs room, and checked a few lipsticks, just to see if he could find a closer shade

No color he chose looked as good on her face as the one she was actually wearing

He was getting frustrated, he was a perfectionist and he couldn’t stand the idea of painting her lips a different color, it just didn’t seem right

So now, all his drawings of her were missing her lips

He went to work the next day hoping she would come in and order coffee again

But she didn’t

A few days went by and he was still drawing her everywhere, of course without painting her lips

His brothers noticed, but decided not to ask too much about it since he said he didn’t know the girl, and Raul drew strangers all the time

She went to the café again, two weeks later

Nervous wasn’t enough to describe how he felt

Finally, he took her order, the same as last time

He gathered enough courage to ask her, it was driving him crazy

As he gave the girl her coffee (with her name written on it with a heart at the side) he said “I know this is weird, but do you happen to know the shade of your lipstick?”

She just answered with a simple no and a puzzled look, feeling a bit uncomfortable

When he noticed he might’ve make her uncomfortable, he quickly apologized and moved on with the next customer

This time, she stayed on the café and drank her coffee

She couldn’t stop looking at Raul tho (knew his name because she looked at his tag)

She thought it was really weird how he just asked that

Who asks the color of your lipstick?

Of course she didn’t know it, though. Just bought the first lipstick she liked and wore it ever since

It wasn’t until she saw the heart on the side of her name that she knew exactly what to do

She grabbed a napkin, folded it and gently planted her lips on it. It looked just like her lips, with the exact color of her lipstick on it.

Written on the side of the napkin a little note “sorry I don’t know the name of the color, I hope this helps” and her name

She gave it to a worker and asked if he could give it to Raul

She ran out of the café before she could see his reaction

Raul took the napkin confused, but a silly grin appeared on his face after he realized what it was

That night he couldn’t sleep, he was trying to color all the drawings he had of her

After that he just couldn’t stop thinking about her. About wanting to meet her

Maybe next time he’ll actually have the guts to give her his number

dealing with a boggart

tw: child abuse, ptsd, really just Sad Harry Potter

Harry was terrified of dementors bc when he saw them, when he was near them, he’d hear his mothers screams, one of the first ever people to really love him, a thing he valued so much, and the pain of her murderer as his plan fell apart.

Of course he was fucking terrified of them for that. Who wouldn’t be?

But after the battle of Hogwarts, when he is fully and truly himself, when he has closure and a family of his own creation, he encounters a dementor some way or another and finds the pain is much lesser now.

Patronus’s are a lot easier to whip out now, bc he isn’t fighting that sort of pain on what he felt was all on his own.

And he proud bc he’s feels he conquered, or at least lessened, this fear.

So one day, for circumstances I’ll let you think up idk I’m not getting paid, he has to deal with a boggart, right?

And so he gets all prepared, opens the wardrobe door, and he’s met with another door.

A door that has peeling paint and a rusty old lock that does its job well enough.

Something, someone, is on the other side, and oh my god that sounds like a child.

Theyre yelling and banging on the door and Harry can’t open it no matter what he tries, and then he hears them.

“Please, aunt petunia, I’m sorry, I don’t know what happened, it wasn’t me! I didn’t do it, I didn’t do anything, it won’t happen again. uncle Vernon, let me out, I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, please”

And then he starts shaking, bc he can’t even properly tell which of the million times that that happened the boggart is recreating,

but suddenly he’s feeling the hollowness of an empty stomach stabbing at him,

he can remember feeling weak from crying and crying for hours because he didn’t do anything on purpose but they’re mad and they’ve locked him in and he’s not allowed out.

He remembers begging to know why all these oddities happen around him and why he always takes the blame, pleading with a small and dark cupboard.

He gets therapy, proper therapy with a mind healer who’s patient and kind with him, and doesn’t know anything about him that he doesn’t tell them the way he needs. His boggart never really changes again, but with time, with age, it doesn’t affect him like it used to. He’s managed to not let it define him. And slowly, the world resets.

Exams are fastly approaching.👀🗓️⏳ I can't seem to really get into the "mood" to study. I'm just kind of lost my drive. But I got myself together today and reviewed my sociology notes I finished like 5 weeks ago.📑🎊 They are so pretty. It kinda motivated me a lot. I don't know why but I really need to study aesthetically or it just doesn't make sense to me.🎨🌌 Also sociology is so interesting, but my professor is just very bad at teaching it (in my opinion) so I'm mostly using the slides provided and YouTube.▶️

this is honestly bad :/ and i’m sorry just tryna get back into this

as a kid, you took swimming lessons.

you took them for most of your childhood.

while your group of friends was more focused on their social life

 you, on the other hand, focused more on something that has given you a purpose.

they were busy finding their soulmates

they got signs whether it was with half-written quotes or pains from their mate

but you just didn’t care too much about that.

your mind is elsewhere

school and swimming kept you busy enough but 

when your friends won’t shut the heck up… you began feeling a bit helpless

high school came around and many of your friends have found their other half

half-written quotes began to make sense

pains start to disperse

and here you are 

being a star athletic student

feeling alone

until a much-awaited swim meet came along,

you were practicing your freestyle strokes in the pool until you started to glow

your teammates noticed your glow and started crowding you

“YA YOUR SOULMATE MUST BE HERE”

“uh you’re crazy, no way.”

a buttload of statements was shouted at you and soon enough your glow disappeared

“okay you guys can SHUT UP! i stopped glowing!”

you can see your teammates disappointment

they just don’t understand wHy yOu dO NOT WANT TO MEET YOUR SOULMATE

you just thought they would be a distraction or

prevent you from reaching your full potential

eventually, the real meet had started and your event was up first

you never feel nervous about swim meets but today it was different

your heart was racing and your hands were shaking

but you still tried your hardest to keep calm and collected

now you’re at the starting mark with other competitors

BAM

you’re off

doing your thing

swimming hard and fast

hoping to win

and YOU DID

but you ended up glowing again and caused a lot of commotion

you finally noticed someone else glowing before your teammates could surround you

you ran to them and 

“hi hello, you’re glowing and i’m glowing... just come with me please.”

and he follows you into the hallway that leads to the locker rooms

“do you know why we’re glowing??”

“my teammates assume we’re soulmates...”

his face showed complete and utter confusion

you can understand why and you couldn’t help but reach for his hand 

that’s when a slow glow began to appear

the face you both make is indescribable

you found your half without wasting so much of your life

“well... hi soulmate, i’m y/n”

“i’m hansol, nice work out there... i was way too worried to do my best, if i’m being honest...”

“really? was your heart beating fast and your hands were shaky??”

he looks straight into your eyes and nods slowly.

“did you feel that? i’m sor-”

“don’t be sorry it happens...”

“yeah... now what? we’ve found each other and i don’t know what to do...”

“i don’t know either... but we’ll figure it out.”
