Could this be the last of the #bumpdates?! 37 weeks today. Contractions, pain, and aches are abundant, but she still seems high to me. We will see what this morning's appointment brings!

Bumpdate: Week 38
Figure I should get one of these things up since it’s been a while and the countdown has begun. At least for me.
* How far along: 38 + 5
* Due Date: February 2017
* Size of baby: fruit/veggie--rhubarb; cute weird animal-- Pomeranian
* Belly button–In or Out: It’s kind of flush.
* Stretch marks: Thank you, mother, no.
* Symptoms: Well, my breasts started leaking...that’s pleasant.
* Sleep: Not very well. I’ve been reading. Nothing high-brow, just those books you find for free or super cheap. The sensual romance ones with cyborgs are my favorite. Who knew they were a thing? Anyway, they’re my guilty pleasure and shameful secret. lol
* Mood: Tired and excited.
* Exercise: I’m trying to keep it up but it’s taking more effort than it should. Greyson forces me to go walking around our neighborhood with him everyday once he comes home from work, though.
* Looking forward to: Meeting this little sprout. I’m really excited that it’s just about time. :D
* Names: Wahaha. We’ve narrowed it down to two! lol
Baby #2 coming December 2020 🍼💕✨
Super late in writing any #bumpdates but quite frankly the anniversary of Rory’s passing and turmoil of the few days after was incredibly difficult, upsetting and a whole range of other emotions. Coupled with the fact I presented at the hospital again several times for decreased movements I have found it all overwhelming and absolutely exhausting. • Sprout is doing completely fine he is head down and rotating between left occiput posterior and anterior. When he moves in to the anterior position I can no longer feel his kicks through my placenta. Generally as soon as the CTG goes on he does a few big movements and everything always tracks well but for my own peace of mind I always get checked out. • My doctor is super happy with how everything is going despite my presentations at the hospital - they always worry her knowing our history - but so far it’s purely positional. My last scan way back in December was able to be reviewed by her after my last appointment #technologyisgreatwhenitworks and as we suspected everything is tracking well with Sprout’s growth and my placenta. So pleased is she with everything that she is contemplating not inducing me as early or at all... Something I have very mixed feelings about and we will continue to discuss. • I am finding the end of this pregnancy incredibly uncomfortable and am ready for this little guy to be here already. I am also finding some of my anxieties creeping back in especially with this spate of decreased movements.... This was our first indication of problems with Zoe’s pregnancy. It is such a roller coaster of emotions and I ready to be off of it. • #pregnancy #bumpdate #32weekupdate #technically33weeks3days #expecting #pregnancyafterloss #pal #babychisholm3 #babysprout #growingourfamily #hypnobirthing #hypnobirthingmumma https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs5UVjrHP1N/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=4f0y9i0l67j7
Bumpdate: Week 32
Holy crap, I can’t believe we’re already here. It’s like the final countdown or something. lol Also, I may be even less active than usual, what with the holidays and all, but I’ll try to pop in as much as possible! But I hope you all have a wonderful holiday, whichever one you celebrate. (Or a nice winter if you don’t celebrate) :D Okay, let’s get this going.
* How far along: 32 + 2
* Due Date: February 2017
* Size of baby: fruit and veggie terms: jicama; cute weird animal: Naked-tailed armadillo (lol I don’t think these two really translate. That armadillo is huge compared to the jicama >.<)
* Belly button–In or Out: It’s still...in-ish? hah It’s not protruding but it’s not as deep as I’m used to.
* Stretch marks: I don’t have them yet and may not get them at this point. Remind me to thank my mother for her fantastic genetics.
* Symptoms: God, do I ever. lol Leg cramps, fatigue, shortness of breath.
* Sleep: I wish I had more. I get tired but when I try to sleep at night, I just cannot find a comfortable position.
* Mood: Besides tired, pretty cheerful. It is the holiday season after all and I have a lot of things to be grateful for. <3
* Cravings: Okay, I love coffee. And I’ve been really good about not drinking it, but I just really really wanted one while we were out shopping, so I bought one! Don’t worry, it was decaf, so not as much caffeine, but omgggggggggg it was delicious. I’ve missed it so damn much.
* Exercise: Does snuggling count? lol It’s so cold. And as a girl who spent most of her life in the Southwest, I’m not used to it. We have the heater on and the fire going non-stop.
* Best moment: Thanksgiving. I know that was a couple of weeks ago, but it was really nice being able to spend it with my father and mother as well as Greyson’s parents.
* Looking forward to: Christmas! Grey’s parents have a big gathering at their place and his brother and his wife will be there, also. So that will be really fun. A little sad that I won’t spend it with my parents but we got in time when they came to visit over Thanksgiving. They stayed with us for a week. But they’ll be going back to New England (from Arizona where they currently live) to see my father’s family. My great grandmother is pretty elderly and they don’t know how many more Christmases she has left.
* Next Appointment: It’s coming up, but it’s after Christmas and the New Year. Marian will be out of town for the holidays, visiting her family as well.
Bump Update: Week 23
* How far along: 23 + 3
* Due Date: February 2017
* Weight gain/loss: Honestly I don’t remember. I know I’m around where I’m supposed to be so I guess that’s all that really matters, right? Right.
* Started to show: Is this even a question now? haha No, but really, I should just stop copy/pasting this here....
* Maternity Clothes: We have progressed to lazy days spent in leggings. lol I know I still have a little less then half to go, but with the cold weather and this extra weight, definitely don’t want my pants too tight. And I’m a tight pants kind of girl.
* Size of baby: fruit veggie terms-- grapefruit; cute weird animal-- chinchilla
* Belly button–In or Out: Still an inny. Yeah.
* Stretch marks: Thank god, noooo.
* Symptoms: Normal fair: constantly visiting the ladies room. Fun times.
* Sleep: I like naps. A lot. lol I feel like my body just gets more tired, more easily. Or often. Whatever. But that could also be because my sleep at night seems to be more restless.
* Mood: A little sad. I’m really missing Daphne. But I talked to her over the weekend and she’s doing well so I’m glad about that.
* Cravings/Aversions: This time of year, with all the food and festive beverages...honestly, I don’t even care about the food so much as the beverages. lol Hot cocoa, warm apple cider, eggnog...I want it all.
* Exercise: I do what I can. The outdoorsy stuff is a little touch and go with the weather being wetter and stormy, but I still do stretching and yoga. Mostly cardio.
* Best moment: Omg, I didn’t mention this, but I was at work Friday AND I FINALLY FELT THE LITTLE SPROUT MOVE!!! I’ve been waiting for that, so yes, major excitement.
Bumpdate: Week 21
* How far along: 21+2
* Due Date: February 2017
* Weight gain/loss: ~10lbs total.
* Started to show: Sure have.
* Maternity Clothes: Yes, my pants are from the maternity department. hah It’s so cold here, I couldn’t put that off any longer.
* Size of baby: Fruit/veggies-- a carrot. Cute, weird animal-- a least weasel (and they’re adorable? Who’d think a weasel would be so cute).
* Gender Predictions: I’m going for boy. It’s just a feeling and it’s really strong. So if I refer to little sprout as he or him, don’t be too surprised, it’s how I've been thinking of the little one.
* Belly button–In or Out: In.
* Symptoms: I feel like my ankles swell if I’m on them too long, maybe? But other than that...
* Sleep: Nothing but. Then again, being sick on top of pregnant probably helped in that department.
* Mood: Relieved that I’m not sick anymore? haha Seriously, that shit sucked. No, but I’m also pretty excited. I thinks it’s a combination of the time of year, pregnancy, and being in a new town. This’ll be my first holiday season in Washington, so that’s pretty exciting. The seasons here are nothing like Arizona. Kind of reminds me of my college years.
* Exercise: Same old, same old. Although Greyson wants to go on a hike this next weekend on some trail a friend mentioned to him. Sooo I guess we’re doing that Saturday morning because heaven forbid he should miss the games on Sunday.
* Best moment: Mom and dad called and finalized plans to visit for Thanksgiving which I’m crazy excited about! Mostly because it means I don’t have to travel. lol
* Last Appointment: Just had it this past week! Got to see the little sprout and how much he’s grown. We’ve got a healthy baby in there. And while I decided not to find out the gender, my doctor, Marian (an old friend from school actually) wrote it on a paper and sealed it up. Just in case. Her words. Now I just have to make sure Grey doesn’t peek and accidentally let it slip out.
Week 18 Bump Update
* How far along: 18 weeks + 3
* Weight gain/loss: ~5 or 6 pounds total gained so far.
* Started to show: Yep! And it’s getting more noticeable by the day.
* Maternity Clothes: I have caved and gotten some of those pants with the belly bands.
* Size of baby: A sugar glider (they’re so cute, too!!!). Or in fruit and veggie terms: a sweet potato.
* Belly button–In or Out: In.
* Stretch marks: Nope, but I’m on the look out. Even bought some of that lotion that supposedly helps. We’ll see.
* Symptoms: Not much, I just love sleep. I loooove it.
* Sleep: Please, yes, more.
* Mood: Tired.
* Gender: Won’t know for a couple more weeks, although I haven’t really decided if I will find out when that time rolls around. We’ll see what happens when we get there, I guess.
* Exercise: Sure! Same old, same old. Grey and I even took a short hike over the weekend since it was relatively nice (not something we get a lot here in WA). Saw some great plants and vegetation.
* Looking forward to: Feeling the little sprout move? I know it may take a little longer since I’m a first time mom, but man, that’ll be really cool to experience. So that. :)
