❞And who are you?❞
“I could ask you the same question… Though the niceties must be observed, I suppose… Maestro Charlemagne Forte, Royal Court Composer, at your service, mademoiselle…”
"Well hello there."
“…” The red head didn’t answer at first, as she was not aware that he’d been talking to her specifically. When it dawned on her, that yes, it was in fact her he’d been addressing, the woman looked up to answer.
“Ah.. Hello monsieur.. Pardon, I was not aware that it was me you were talking to.. Is there something you need?” she asked politely, her expression neutral and slightly curious. After all, it wasn’t often people just came up to her, to strike a conversation.

Agathe wanting to teach Gaston a lesson. He thinks outer beauty is always equal (or even more important) than inner beauty? Think again!
He is cursed in a way similar to how the Beast was, though perhaps a more gradual transformation: the more “beastly” or monstrous he acts, the more he turns into one physically...
❝My old friend! Walk with me a moment won't you?❝
“Of course!” Jo agreed readily, willing to follow Gaston to the ends of the earth and back were he to ask. After all, she had followed her childhood friend to war, swapping her skirts and garden tools for breeches and a musket in order to do so. She had largely left the musket behind with their return from the war, but the breeches had remained as Josefin had grown comfortable with the freedoms that living as a man offered her. “What can I do for you?”

Mabel was avoiding her chores, yet again. Technically, she should be washing the family's linens, but it was just so incredibly dull. Besides- it's not like her brother, or her uncles would even notice.
She focused her attention back upon her sketchbook- the skyline of Paris. It wasn't as good as she wanted it to be, but the memory was fast fading. There was talk of revolution, back in Paris- so their parents insisted they leave. Stay with family somewhere... small. Small means safe.
Sensing movement, Mabel glanced up, and a smile slipped into place. He was an ass, of course- but a beautiful one.
"Hello, Gaston-"
@bxxttromping continued from here.
Belle wouldn’t deny that Gaston was handsome. He was tall and dark and strong. It was just that his terrible personality tended to overshadow his good looks. Still, it was embarrassing for Belle to come upon any man, handsome or not, naked.
“I assure you I’m quite fine Gaston.” The thought of stripping down to join him had Belle’s ears turning pink. He couldn’t be serious. “I’ll wait until you’re done. Or come back later.”
"Would you like to go for a ride Belle? Oe perhaps dinner and a drink or two?"
“No, but thank you for the invitation.” Belle began. After a beat, she decided to elaborate. “I don’t drink and besides, Phillipe is needed in the field. The harvest is approaching.”
The water's fine
Send “Hot Water” for my muse’s reaction to yours finding them in a hot spring. Or, send “The Water’s Fine” for my muse’s reaction to yours inviting them into a hot spring.
Belle turned a vibrant shade of pink and quickly turned her back to the man in the naturally heated pool. She thought she was the only one who knew about the hidden hot spring. Belle should have known that Gaston, with his extensive knowledge of the forests and hills around the village, would know of it as well.
“I’m fine thank you.” She tried not to sound embarrassed. “If I’d known you were here I wouldn’t have come.”
