Hera is the goddess of marriage and family, but she is one of the few Olympians who does not have demigod children in Riordan’s world.

Her cabin exists as a tribute cabin; for worship, honour, and symbolic presence. Not as a place for her offspring.

Because she has no demigod children, she has no cabin members except those who might stay there temporarily.

A/N: I didn't know that I would like writing headcanons so much. Please send me any fanfic requests if you have any!

-Ah, Hera.

-Such a lonely cabin.

-The actual cabin isn't so bad, but you'll be sleeping on the floor until Chiron finds you a spare bed.

-Yeah... this Cabin is not the most comfortable.

-It's cold ALL THE TIME

-Seriously buy a heater.

But it's time to talk about you! *Claps hands excitedly*

-You look like a mini version of Hera, which ironically makes you hate her because people were always comparing the two of you.

-Which is also why you're besties with Annabeth.

-She wanted to hate you because of your mother, but when she started talking crap about Hera, so did you.

-Let's just say she was pleasantly surprised when your response was, "I know right? That asshole."

-Pow! You now did everything together!

-Also Zeus hates you.

-But what's new about that?

General Headcanons!

-Hera's kids would have some of the same powers as the Aphrodite campers.

-Hear me out!

-They would be able to make and break relationships.

-Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut

-They play with the long game in mind.

-They want to make relationships that last forever, and they want to break ones that are toxic.

-Also teleporting? Hello?

-It's a bit like shadow traveling, except they can do it at any given time, any place.

-Just imagine talking to your friend and then they suddenly glow indigo and disappear. Talk about a jump scare.

-Anyway, the downside is that it's more draining. MUCH more draining.

-Remember that one time when Nico passed out for 2-3 days?

-It would be double that time for any child of Hera.

What do you think children of Hera would have? (I kinda like her. Fandom prolly hates her because she kidnapped Percy)

Nah fandom just hates her cause Rick focuses her character around her harsher traits present in mythology, generally painting her as an unsympathetic figure and the fandom proceeds to take that and run (and pagans everywhere sigh wearily)

Anyways some powers:

Control of wind / clouds / Flying via control of wind (Semi-canonical, given Jason)

Some limited control over rain (but not storms/thunder/lightning)

Influence over / able to speak to cattle, lions, cuckoos, and peacocks

Able to grow plants/flowers, particularly pomegranates

Empath (Able to tell how others are feeling / potentially able to somewhat influence other’s emotions)

Strength or powers waning/waxing with the moon
