@calculatedfate ; ily, sydney. ❤  you’ve known me from what feels like the ancient days, & i’ve always admired you so much.  you were, & still are, the definition of sleek & cool to me.  your characters are so distinctly yours ; there’s a breath of sydney in everything you write.  i’m so lucky to witness these stories that come forward under your name.  they’re so beautiful.  there’s something poignant about them, but they never settle into tragedies.  there’s a current of life, always, in what you write.  everything just clicks.  i’m going to reiterate how much i admire you for that.  anyway, i was even luckier to wind up your friend---- you who are a beautiful, inspiring, compassionate heart of a human being.  you who always bring a smile to my face, no matter how casual the circumstance.  i don’t think i’m the only one whose days you brighten, either.  you’re a true gift, inside & out -- with your writing, & with yourself in general.  thank you !!  from the bottom of my heart.  just for knowing & tolerating me, but also for being my friend.  for being everyone’s cool, sleek friend.  i hope life’s treating you well. :~)))))

     to be frank, he doesn’t care either way. this is a less than compassionate display of curiosity, a shot at poking the bear. people, for better or for worse, are easy to preoccupy yourself with.
