One thing i will never shut up about is how the GA blames Mike's innability to tell El "i love you" into his family. Because NOW Mike has trauma. Because NOW they see this. This is honestly really disturbing, because:

1- Mike and Nancy come from the same family and Nancy is very capable of saying i love you to Jonathan. VERY. CAPABLE. Dyk why? Because Jonathan is the one she loves.

The trauma from saying i love you is to say that to someone they don't love. Because they don't want to end just like their parents did. But since Nancy was so sure that she didn't love Steve, she didn't said it. But with Jonathan, it was different. Because she loves HIM. Not Steve.

That being said, if Mike really loved El, he would say that. They are just homophobic if they don't admit it.

2-I don't see the GA and anti-bylers acknowledge Mike's trauma in other situations, but just to justify his obviously bad boyfriend behaviour. Honestly, they don't even seem to care for Mike and El. Just for Mileven. Why are you shipping them if you aren't going to care for them individually? What even is the point lol. Too afraid of the byler fandom to finally be right? Too afraid of queer rep?

Also, why are they so afraid of just admiting that mileven was just doomed if it was so obvious, too? It's not like media lacks straight relashionships that work out lol. It's not the same case as bylers, bc we were(and we still are, even if the shown ended) fighthing for Byler to be canon because media lacks queer relashionships that work out having good rep. Specially on the possible relashionship that we could had if the bylers were right (we were tho, the duffers were just scared)

The corridor outside the Slytherin common room crackled with low laughter and the smug confidence of boys who had never once questioned their own entitlement. Mattheo. Theo. Blaise. Draco. And Enzo—smirking like this was some sort of achievement.

You stepped closer. The numbers, the columns, the names—girls you knew, girls you studied with, girls you sat beside at breakfast—all tallied, ranked, reduced to somebody’s twisted form of entertainment.

“What in Merlin’s name are you doing?”

The room stilled for half a heartbeat. Mattheo closed his book halfway, guilt flickering over his expression. Theo shifted, uncomfortable. Blaise looked away. Draco scoffed but didn’t meet your eyes.

But Enzo? Enzo just leaned back in his chair, dragging his quill down another page.

“Relax,” he drawled. “It’s normal. End-of-year tradition.”

Your jaw clenched. “Normal? You think rating people like livestock is normal?”

Theo exhaled. “It’s stupid. We know it’s stupid—”

“It’s immature,” you snapped. “And disgusting.”

Then, because you couldn’t help yourself, because fury and disbelief demanded answers—you flipped open the nearest book.

Your friend’s name stared back at you. And another. And another.

Each one with numbers beside them.

A sick, cold feeling unfurled in your stomach.

“You’re ranking them? Comparing who you’ve slept with like it's a House Cup event?” Your voice rose, reverberating off the stone walls. “These are actual girls—people you go to class with. People who trusted you.”

Draco muttered something under his breath, but even he didn’t defend it. Not properly.

Enzo, though—Enzo’s gaze lifted to you with a smug, practiced calm.

“You sound jealous.”

The world froze.

“Excuse me?” The words were razor-thin.

He shrugged, flipping a page in his book with deliberate boredom. “You’re not in there. Maybe that’s why you’re upset. Wanting to know what number you’d get? Wanting to know your… ‘worth’?”

Mattheo’s head snapped toward him. “Enzo, what the hell—”

You stared at Enzo, something inside you fracturing—not because you cared about the book, but because he genuinely thought that was a reasonable explanation. Because he genuinely thought you were the problem.

“Let me make something very clear,” you said quietly, dangerously. “My worth isn’t defined by any of you. And the fact that you think it is? That you think girls are points to score? That’s not normal. That’s not harmless. That’s pathetic.”

Enzo stiffened, annoyed that his usual smirk wasn’t working.

You turned to the others. “And you—every one of you—should be ashamed. You’re supposed to be my friends. Better than this. But right now? You look like cowards who think numbers make you powerful.”

Blaise shut his notebook first. Theo followed. Mattheo didn’t look up.

But Enzo didn’t move. He just glared—caught, exposed, unwilling to admit even a crack of wrongdoing.

“Maybe you should grow up,” you finished. “All of you.”

The room stayed silent as you turned and walked away, your footsteps echoing with the finality they absolutely deserved.

Behind you, Mattheo muttered, “She’s right.” Theo: “We went too far.”

And Enzo… You heard the snap of his notebook shutting, sharp and frustrated.

Because for the first time, someone didn’t fall for the charm.

For the first time, someone wasn’t impressed.

For the first time— Enzo Berkshire wasn’t the nice one.
