Snape was sexually assaulted. True statement, it was sexual assault. People who are against Snape and Snape apologists do not support sexual assault. Duh. But you cannot deny that Snape abused kids as an adult. Scenario: A middle aged man at a high school that who had a violent and abusive childhood and then taking the kids in his classroom and emotionally and verbally abusing them so far that one kids literal worst fear is the teacher. Even though his parents were tortured to insanity to the point they cannot recognize him. You wouldn't defend a rapist because he/she was abused as a child. You wouldn't defend a pedophile who was molested as a teenager. And you most certainly can't excuse a 38 year old teacher for abusing children in his classroom after experiencing assault. It just isn't logical. If Harry had been the spitting image of Lily and not James, the situation could have easily turned pedophil-y. Snape is and was a facist, racist, terroist who experienced bullying and assault as a teenager. THIS IS NOT AN EXCUSE. Snape literally outed Remus to the entire wizarding world to the point that he could not get any other job, and faced such discrimination that he planned to leave his wife and unborn child because he thought he was a monster. but sure. bravest man i ever knew
