I feel like a lot of people or shows or media in general dismiss gay pirates/sailors as “well they’ve been at sea for so long they’ll look for companionship in anyone” and I get that, but I love that black sails said no, we’re not doing that. Flint is gonna be gay on land too. Dare I say gayer. like his whole gay revelation is very firmly on land. In london at that. And I just think that’s great! okay that’s my two cents
