Taking a break from Tumblr
I had spent the past week relaxing and reenergising myself for the intense studying in the upcoming months.
Now that the Winter Studying Challenge is over, I will delete Tumblr to minimise the distractions it causes, reinstalling it only on weekends to catch up.
Not that my 85 followers would care about this, but I just thought I should post this. Hey, at least I can hold myself accountable for it.
If you made it till the end of my post, first of all, wow you're very vella (got nothing to do). Secondly, please scream at me in my inbox if you see me here on weekdays. Threaten to tear up my book collection or read my middle school secret diary. I beg you.
I've been very poor at mind mapping since time immemorial and could not make one that would be useful, like, ever. So here's a tip from Ana Mascara if anyone wants- make curvy lines. It's got something to do with our neural connections and they're more helpful than straight lines.
Please ignore the pen and pencil marks on my desk.

Day 8: When should people start preparing for, decorating and celebrating Christmas?
My school starts with the christmas carols from 1st December itself. But for Eid, which is a holiday I celebrate, I don't think we do much 'preparation' till there's one week left. In fact, apart from getting the new clothes, everything else is done a day before the actual festival.
Quick, I need someone to tell me preboards are not important. I'm left with 2.5 chapters and most of the others I've like read through because my brain has just stopped accepting information at this point and is weirdly chillaxed and wants to think of alternate scenarios. But I'm also freaking out because I've been taking preboards very seriously and all the others went pretty good and tomorrow is the last one and now I can't.
I want to be chill because I know it doesn't matter but I also know I'll start crying tomorrow when it actually goes bad.
What is up with the new English sample paper? They tried to make it easier by....making it more twisted and time consuming? The Reading Comprehension part is absolute agony! And why did it happen in my last year when I don't even have any practice of analysing the text and then answering it instead of straightup chhaapna as the questions earlier demanded?
I've not been posting recently because I've too many assignments piled up and not being able to study is getting to me and making me very annoyed. But now I've decided to calm down a bit and try to get it back on track again.
Yesterday I stayed up till 3 making a travelogue for my English project.

Day 21: What was the most memorable holiday celebration you had at school?
Every year is fun, but this year was supposed to be the most fun, it being my last year. I'm just trying to get through the fact that I missed out on it all.
Day 22: Finish this thought, "It wouldn't be Christmas/Eid without _____."
Biryani!
Day 23: If you could design your own ugly Christmas sweater, what would it look like?
I've never really worn an ugly Christmas sweater but they look very cosy. So I'd go for generally any design, just simple.
