hey were you aware of the existance of the phoenixdex site yet? its a pretty neat fakemon site of three generations worth of competently designed fakemon, (almost) all of them made completely available by the author under a CC BY-NC license!

I also might as well mention that it reminds me of an idea I had, basically to put a bunch of fan Pokemon/Regions/Characters into one setting that followed the same exact rules as Pokemon but didn’t use any of the actual bits of the existing IP and used a CC-BY Vanilla license; essentially making an Open Source non-Nintendo-owned Pokemon setting!
I wonder if the Phoenixdex person would ever want to get in on that concept, tho IDK if they’d be okay with putting that stuff under that more permissive license…
