Dawe. Proud DadMight. This got me thinking about how the story would have gone if Horikoshi could have made Izuku become a hero while quirkless like he originally planned. I kinda of feel like it would have definitely been grittier (gone deeper into quirk discrimination) but also a more interesting story. When I first heard about MHA, I thought that it was going to be a kid wanting to be a hero, but doing so with no powers. Kinda disappointed it's not, but it's still a good story.
Rambling about Fairies - Manga Chapter 116
This sort of extreme 'to the death' sort of battle is foreign to members of Fairy Tail, but it definitely is incredibly familiar to Phantom Lord.
Fairy Tail fights all the time, but they never take it further than a few punches and bruises that leave angry wounds. Phantom has probably had cullings before, it's a dog eat dog world in that guild. The fact that she, meek Juvia that doesn't actively strive to be the strongest in any way, is an S-ranker in Phantom Lord, probably means that the guild itself is very competitive.
Juvia's calm response is a big juxtaposition to Cana's, and the reason is clear. She's used to this, and she's fully aware that tough, timely decisions like this one is something Fairy Tail members are not equipped to handle.
That's why she doesn't hesitate at all to sacrifice herself. It's no longer to save herself or stay alive, she's doing it because she doesn't expect nor want Cana to reach the same conclusion she did.
This is Juvia's own way of inheriting the spirit of Fairy Tail.
Ch179 (1), Only good for manual labor
Bard isn’t any good at peeling potatoes, but he did a better job at it than our earl later does at the circus. 😆
This reminds me of ch117, when Nina tells the doorman at Sphere Music Hall that her new employee (Sebastian) is only good for “carrying things”.🤣
I mean. Maybe? Do you have like super sharp Nami senses?
Here U Are by Djun ─ ch.116
One of the things that separates One Piece from a lot of other shonen manga is that it’s less concerned about whether a person’s beliefs are right or wrong than if the person has a set of beliefs to begin with, and that they stick to them no matter what
