any odd pairing stuff for chad x carlos

- During the family day incident, ‘calling out’ ¾ of the VKs for anything he could possibly think of, Chad genuinely didn’t have a clue of what he could say about Carlos. Like, “Your a bad person because your mom is insane and you’ve had to live with her your entire life and I’m not going to pretend that she is probably the reason behind those circular burns on your arms!”. He had been pretty selfish and mean that day, but Chad isn’t heartless.

- Carlos can’t help but appreciate that even if he tends be bit a bit of an jerk to everyone, Chad loves his mother with all of his heart.

- When Chad decided that he didn’t want to be a douche that no one liked anymore, he went to Carlos for help since literally everyone liked him. Although the teen was a tad surprised, he agreed and gave him pointers on just being himself without the snobby comments.

- They could actually consider eachother friends, even if they aren’t really close. The only times they actually make time to hang out with eachother is during Tourney/Fencing events and when the gang decided to all hang out.

- Carlos got Chad into painting his nails and now the prince prides himself on doing it on a daily basis.

- Despite his snobby exterior, Chad can’t help but have a soft spot for adorable things- and Carlos just happens to be that. It doesn’t mean he gives him a dozen hugs and stuff, but he does go out of his way to make sure any fur coats aren’t in the younger boy’s sight.

- Carlos doesn’t really think Chad’s a bad guy, he just honestly doesn’t understand a lot of stuff. For example; life on the Isle, why certain things may hurt peoples feelings, etc.

So I've just watched Descendants 2 and noticed that almost every ship in the fandom has a moment in the movie, letting aside the canon couples, the most obvious ones to me were the homosexual ships subtext moments, Mal and Evie had a beautiful duet, the scene next to said duet was of Jay and Carlos waking up side by side when the 3D printer finished the fake wand, Ben and Carlos had their moments during the songs Chillin like a villain "you need to not stare", and bowing at each other in You and Me, Chad sneaking into Carlos/Jay room, etc. I if I list all the moments I'll end tomorrow, the thing is is that now I'm 99,9% sure that it was totally on purpose, even in the first movie and all I got to say is: keep it going Disney, keep on feeding my shipping soul, it is actually working :D
