Can you believe that there's people who actually wanted Petra and Chuck together?
Dear Jane, first, sorry for being goofy in the priest’s office. I was just nervous, because I was scared about writing something for you, a writer. And I’ve been thinking about what to say, which got me to thinking how lucky I was to have met you at all and… all the small twists of fate that led me to you in the first place. And how, in a way, our destiny was just a series of detours bringing us back to each other… again and again. A twist of fate. The night we met, that’s what it felt like. I wasn’t even supposed to be working. I’d picked up a shift for my buddy whose kid was playing in a recital. And then I was technically off, but I took a detour and stopped for a burger a few blocks away. And I was heading back to the precinct when… “We’ve got a noise complaint on 25th. Any units nearby who can check it out? Yeah, I’m right there.” If not for that recital and that burger, I might not have ended up on the doorstep of a drunk 21 year-old girl. That’s not just a series of coincidences. It’s destiny. And I never doubted you were mine. And never doubt that all I want, forever and always, is for you to be happy.

So, the season ends with Jane seeing that Adam guy again, Petra being held at gunpoint by her terrible sister, Luisa kicking Raf out of his office.
So. That’s fun.
See you in... September or October, then.
No, that doesn't feel like "meant to be", because that would make it sound too easy. And it was an incredible amount of hard work and effort and determination and overcoming obstacles and fighting through disappointments and failures. It was a choice.

Danny stands in the next room, his head down. Tears fall from his eyes. He has felt bad since waken up to the understanding of what his parents have done. This though, that fragile little boy, all his mam has left of his pa, it him harder than anything.
Lifting his eyes to heaven, he freely weeps. "God, if You are up there listening, please save the baby. If You need a sacrifice, take me. Please leave wee Alex with his mam. She needs him, Lord. We have taken enough from her, please don't take her child.”
His parents worshipped the earth. He has never been in a church. In honesty, he isn't even sure that God exists. If there is any chance, he will take it. Mary is kind to him. He doesn't know he would-be in her shoes.
“You can have me! Just leave Alex here. I beg you!”

“The unmitigated nerve of that man!” Her eyes flash as she paces around the room. Geillis, sitting and holding Brian, nods. She had came and told Claire as soon as she could. As Rowan plays with Willie and Faith, their Mam’s talk.
“I know. To ask that..”
“And why he is asking! He is having a son so forget his daughter!”
“In all honesty Claire, he forget his daughter a long time ago.” She lifts Brian up and he squeals. The lad adores his Auntie Geillis.
“Yes but..”
“How he went about it was disgusting, no doubt. But, I am really considering signing it, to get him permanently out of our lives.”
“Geillis that.. I see your point it is just…” She takes a seat across from her and leans across the table her hands clasped together.
“You think he is getting off easy.”
“Exactly! He has responsibility and..”
“Claire, I have been a single mam since her conception. The penitence he pays me doesn’t change that. I do not want my daughter knowing him. I don’t want her to have anything to do with him. This document will prevent that. Freeing us from him.” The document in question lays on the table between them. Claire picks it back up and reads over it again. She is right. It would do that.
“You can make it on what you make here,? Because we can give you a raise. Your job performance is exemplary.”
“Thank you Claire. I won’t turn it down. I am no fool. But, yes we can. I don’t need him or want him.”
“Then sign the paper. Free Rowan from the burden of having that.. yeah, as a father.”
She does, right then and there, after handing Brian back to his mammy. “Done. I will send it to the lawyer that prepared it.”
“Brilliant! I am proud of you Geillis.”
I forgot this was the episode with the “I already know who I’m meant to be with” What happened? “Jane”
context who...
And now we know who killed Scott. Eileen.
Okay.
Also, does Rogelio just think people that have a uterus just freeze all the eggs??? I don’t think it works that way. You still drop one every month or whatever.
