I wish we got more of for Shen Yuan is dealing with consequences like the brothel sisters who comforted Shen Jiu and were likely cared for in turn, or how he probably isn't as shrewd or strategic as Shen Jiu due to their differing backgrounds and didn't know much of his life outside Binghe's perspective, which could lead to the collapse of things like spy networks or secret sect defenses the Qing Jing Peak Lords wouldn't leave written down for security purposes.

Short OC Comic

Just a couple of friends talking about who they’re into—I think this is a pretty universal experience In Highschool, no matter what your sexuality is. I remember growing up people would always ask me who I had a crush on and I’d just sort of spin my wheels trying to come up with someone. Did Zoro from One Piece count? Anyways, I have a lot of LGBT friends, and I wrote this as a way to try and imagine what those kind of conversations might look like for someone who’s Gay or Asexual.

By the way, these are two of my OC’s from a story I’m working on. Hopefully I’ll turn it into a published novel one day, but for now it’s still sort of stuck in the concept stage, and I haven’t stated writing the book yet. I’m still feeling things out, so hopefully doing stuff like this helps me flesh out what I want.

The girl’s name is Clover, and the boy is Ivan—Ivan’s the MC of this particular story. (You know, whenever I actually get around to writing it.)

Oh, and here’s a transcript of the dialogue in case it’s confusing. (Hopefully the comic flows well, I’m still figuring out how to make these things.)

Clover: “It’s kinda wierd… but I’ve never really been, like, INTO guys.”

Ivan: “I mean, I’ve never really been into girls. (So it’s not that wierd.)”

Clover: “No, not like that. I mean, I’ve thought about dating before. Holding hands, kissing, all fine. It’s just…”

“I don’t think I want what my brother has. (Yuck.)”

Ivan: “Ah. Right” Guess that makes one of us.

Sorry it’s not the best dialogue. Hopefully it gets the idea across though.

i was reading some people dive into nezha 2 and the main characters, nezha and ao bing (my two babies) and they described them as contrasting but also complimenting each other but it was funny how it described nezha as masculing and ao bing as more feminine because i see it i rlly do 😭 but now its just making me think of ao bing as nezhas beloved wifey, which i mean not complaining 👀 would pay to see.

Other Ralph breaks internet thoughts

It's rather essential that Vanellope has an entire land and even the princess room with dozens of mentors who are willing to and able to direct her.

Where is Ralph driven in part by his own insecurities and ignorance and Desperation doesn't have that except for people who enable him on the dark web

Or I guess what I mean to say is it's very essential that Ralph doesn't have the equivalent of a princess room for him to visit. Or the equivalent is with something a little much he doesn't want to be or emulate.

By contrast and comparison as much pisses taken out of the whole Disney princess thing they also are given away to act as a comfort and means to enable and push Vanellope towards her dreams and stuff.

Character comparison: Adaptation to modern human society

Anabiel: Occasionally uses a few words that seem out of place in modern speech, but those blend in with how she talks and don’t raise any flags. She seems just a little odd at times, but the sort of odd that could be passed off as eccentricity, and it is hard to tell that she’s anything but whatever she says she is (something which can change depending on what she wants to accomplish)

Faith: Almost complete linguistic adaptation, she uses the speech patterns of modern times easily with very few slips. It is extremely difficult to tell that she is not human, and although she will tell people if they ask usually people just think it’s some sort of joke. To any being that can not sense what she is she simply seems like an extremely bubbly collage student who perhaps knows just a little too much.

Minael: Her speech patterns are odd and do not fit in with humans, and even if she was simply standing in a crowd people would move away from her knowing she was something other and a danger. She has adapted other parts of human society, namely their weapons (x).

Character comparison: Interactions with humans

Anabiel: Be not afraid, your stupid arguments and thoughts should be afraid, but you have no reason to be as long as you give them up.

Faith: Come on, don’t be scared...are you crying...no stop crying. Look I’m not here to hurt you, please stop being scared. *says something that would scare people* Wait no, I didn’t mean it that way...come on don’t be scared.

Minael: Yes you should be afraid, stop pleading, you’re going to die anyways and this is just pathetic. Don’t ask God to help you, He obviously doesn’t care for you, because if He did I wouldn’t be here.

Character comparison: Drugs

Anabiel: Occasionally (or maybe more than that, her perception of time is a little off) uses marijuana in order to relax after dealing with her siblings and their bickering. Also she’ll have a drink or ten while she’s interacting with humans or having a good time.

Faith: Has no problem having a few drinks, and has probably tried smoking with Anabiel at least once. Gets IDed constantly, especially if she’s just picking something up for Anabiel, but has learned enough tricks from her sister to weasel her way out of any sort of trouble.

Minael: Considers drugs of any sort the same as shooting herself in the foot, would not touch anything like that with a ten foot pole, doesn’t matter what it is. Coffee is something she won’t mess with, it took her a very long time to warm up to tea, and even now she looks at it suspiciously as if it will poison her.
