Doing ArtFight in 2026!
Sorry for the sub-par image quality, but I’m back for ArtFight this year! I’ll be in team Mystery, as NightLilly1050, so feel free to attack any of my OC’s if you want to. :)

Doing ArtFight in 2026!

Absolom
My spatial unawareness was acting up when I drew this, so his proportions are a bit all over the place in a couple of these pictures. But I’m not redrawing it (because violins are hard.)
Anyway, Absolom is my third main character in Rent World: he’s the illegitimate son of the current king, and has a lot of conflict between himself and the other sons of the king. The throne is hereditary, but is passed on only to members of the king’s bloodline who inherited the royal gift of power that is capable of protecting the city from the toxic world outside. Absolom is the only son of the king that inherited this power, making him the rightful heir—a fact that the other princes resent. They do everything in their power to keep the king and the people from ever finding out the truth, as well as everything they can to ensure that Absolom “knows his place.”
Regardless of what his brothers want, Absolom knows he is the rightful heir to the throne, and will do whatever he has to to ensure he inherits it after his father passes on. He is intelligent, manipulative, calculating and cruel, but those who are loyal to him would follow him into hell itself.
Oh yeah, and he’s a really good violinist.

Getting Ready for Artfight
Look, I know it’s a month early and all that, but I’m impatient. Also it’s going to take a while to create referenceable art for all my OC’s that I want on Artfight this year. These two were high priority since I recently made a comic for them on Tumblr, and I’m working on another character interaction picture for them that I want to post here too. What can I say? These guys are my babies.
Hopefully I’ll have more art of them soon. They’re pretty cool. :)
They Won’t Hurt You.
I’m working on my scene composition, so I decided to make this picture to help me practice. Plus I’ve wanted to draw White’s schizophrenia demons for a while now, and I thought it might make for a fun composition.
So yeah, that’s what I drew today.
Ripper
This one still looks a little Wierd to me… like I couldn’t quite get his face right. (He’s got a Wierd looking face, at least in terms of what I usually draw.) I’m telling you, though, I’m really proud of his prosthetic leg—it turned out great in all the pictures!
Anyway, this is Ripper, my one legged problem. He’s also from my mature story Rent World—the one that explores sexual trauma and abuse—and fills a pretty important role in the story. He’s supposed to sort of be a contrast for the way Rent handles her trauma. Where Rent tries to fight her problems and attacks them with a head on approach, Ripper tries to work his way around them. He responds to Trauma by making himself a smaller target, in direct contrast with Rent’s trauma induced aggression.
Ripper sits at the bottom of any hierarchy he’s a part of by choice, and gets shoved around and demeaned by others but mostly overlooked. He’s incredibly intelligent though, (he made his own prosthetic leg out of trash after self amputating his own shattered leg,) and is able to work his way in and out of any problem he likes.
He had a had time getting up if he falls over though.

White
Usually I don’t post my OC’s on my Tumblr since this is more or less my fan-art platform, but… I just couldn’t help it! This thing took me, like, FOREVER to paint, and I’m too happy with how it turned out to not share it. So here—have my OC Art literally no one asked for.
And in case anyone’s curious, this is a character from a Dream Heist story I’ve been working on for a few years now—general premise is that instead of being sent to prison, criminals considered dangers to society are sent to a special facility where they are put to sleep, spending their time in an artificial dreamscape. The story is about a bunch of people who have “woken up” inside the dream, and are now working from the inside to try and take it apart. So basically the Matrix mixed with Inception, and a whole lot of psychology. This particular character was put into the dream because he broke out of a mental hospital.
Oh, and if you read this far down, you get some bonus art of this guy I made a couple years ago.
This is White, (aka Erik in the real world,) one of my main characters from my dream world story. (That story doesn’t have a name yet, unfortunately.) His job is to enter other people’s dreams and wake them up. Like all of my characters in this story, White is a convicted criminal. The crime? Being mentally ill. He was sent to a mental hospital when he was 15 for having hallucinations (psychosis,) and broke out about two months later after being put on a medication that made his symptoms worse. So yeah, no one knew what to do with him after that so they put him to sleep and hooked him up to the dream, where he ended up trapped in his own mind with the demons he hallucinated in the real world until he eventually broke out of his own dream too.
He’s really nice, by the way.
The Rift
Yay!!! I finally have portraits for all my main characters from my epic fantasy story I’m working on! Don’t they all look so cool? (Individual images and descriptions under the cut)
I made a Zombie OC… Apparently
I never thought I’d end up making a story about a Zombie apocalypse, but then I had the brilliant idea for a character who wants to die but is stuck as a zombie. Originally it was a semi-joke concept, but it actually turned into kind of a serious story about depression and suicidality with elements of body horror and… yeah, it’s not really the funniest story anymore, but I’m nothing if not known for making characters trauma into a comedy routine. (Because I’m awful like that.) So yeah. I have a Zombie OC. His name is Jayden.
This Took Me 10 Hours to Make
This was a really fun picture to work on, but it took a really long time to make. I’m really happy with how it looks, though—I feel like I’ve really captured the essence of my character here.
Short OC Comic
Just a couple of friends talking about who they’re into—I think this is a pretty universal experience In Highschool, no matter what your sexuality is. I remember growing up people would always ask me who I had a crush on and I’d just sort of spin my wheels trying to come up with someone. Did Zoro from One Piece count? Anyways, I have a lot of LGBT friends, and I wrote this as a way to try and imagine what those kind of conversations might look like for someone who’s Gay or Asexual.
By the way, these are two of my OC’s from a story I’m working on. Hopefully I’ll turn it into a published novel one day, but for now it’s still sort of stuck in the concept stage, and I haven’t stated writing the book yet. I’m still feeling things out, so hopefully doing stuff like this helps me flesh out what I want.
The girl’s name is Clover, and the boy is Ivan—Ivan’s the MC of this particular story. (You know, whenever I actually get around to writing it.)
Oh, and here’s a transcript of the dialogue in case it’s confusing. (Hopefully the comic flows well, I’m still figuring out how to make these things.)
Clover: “It’s kinda wierd… but I’ve never really been, like, INTO guys.”
Ivan: “I mean, I’ve never really been into girls. (So it’s not that wierd.)”
Clover: “No, not like that. I mean, I’ve thought about dating before. Holding hands, kissing, all fine. It’s just…”
“I don’t think I want what my brother has. (Yuck.)”
Ivan: “Ah. Right” Guess that makes one of us.
Sorry it’s not the best dialogue. Hopefully it gets the idea across though.
