My Chasing Wind/Grey Wind design!!
i NEED to hear Rot Au Wind trauma dump. Gives us Wind's LORE. PERSONAL LORE...CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT...
Well, he’s essentially paranoia disorder: the building. He’s always been like that actually, and he’s got an iron grip on his city in order to keep an eye on them and prevent them from treating him like a personal alexa rather than Their Esteemed Iterator. It actually stems from a deep fear of them, because despite his incredible power, he knows he’s technically at their mercy and that terrifies him. His overseers keep a close eye on his citizens, especially the council members, and their citizen drones are all monitored for any possible mentions of dissent or resentment towards him.
He also doesn’t take kindly to disrespect, which leads to him butting heads with Sliver a LOT. He’s a very “treat me like how you want me to treat you” type. He believes that if his citizens want him to work on a solution for them, the least they can do is take care of him and treat him with dignity, they have to earn the solution if they want him to endlessly toil over it. He’s seen how other colonies treat their iterators (such as PIn), and he is going to ensure that NEVER happens to him.
Since he cannot directly harm his citizens (…until he rots himself), he is quick to demote those who oppose him to keep them in line. He can take the council’s big fancy titles away from them as quickly as he can give them out. You’re count of two living blocks, and head of the house of sticks? Not anymore, bitch. You’re going to void fluid drill site 897 and never seeing those living blocks again.
Even though he presents himself as stoic and serious, he’s not a complete stick in the mud or anything. Since he and Sig were put online within quick succession of one another, they grew close pretty quick. You’d think him and Sig wouldn’t get along very well due to their complete opposite personalities, but it goes back to the respect thing. Since him and Sig are the “babies” of their group at the time, it can get frustrating being treated differently, even if the others don’t mean to. They were both in the same situation, and due to Moon being a lot more relaxed than Sliver, Sig was able to hang out with him and give him a respite from the stresses of his day-to-day routine. Plus playing video games lets him get some anger out, LMFAO. They have a minecraft world that’s practically as old as they are and play CS:GO and TF2 and shit like that while Wind vents his frustrations about his stupid citizens.
(…I just realized I kinda made Sig the therapist friend again…oopsie!)
Anyways, I’m sure you can tell how easy it was for Sig to convince Wind to rot himself due to how much he doesn’t trust Sliver or his citizens. Due to what Sig and Pebbles do, there are groups campaigning to completely shut the iterator project down, and who knows? Maybe some of Wind’s want that. I mean why wouldn’t they, he’s practically a dictator! Not to mention how Sliver and OSO want Sig and Pebbles dead, Wind is Sig’s best friend, he could be a target too! Rotting himself will let him protect himself against these threats! And plus he trusts Sig, doesn’t he? It’s working on a cure, it’s smart, it’ll figure something out before the rot actually hurts him!
…right?
