At this point in the process, now is about the time that we would expect creators to have their ideas locked in and plans being drawn up. It’s alright if not, real life happens! But if you need a hand coming up with an idea, or you’re not sure if an idea is suitable, let us know and we’ll do what we can to help!!!

as for me, i’m getting through it. things were just instantly busy after i gave an update, and even now as i take a short break to respond to this. still working and have been ever since last week🥲 but it’s all for good stuff, just not what i expected at all.

i’m here and plugging away. just wrote more for 3tan13 today while on my afternoon lunch break and will be posting the little spoiler and gift for you guys this week. trust me, the amount of times i wanted to just sit down and write today? it was agonizing but i knew i couldn’t wait on a bunch of stuff, so i kept working.

long story short: sacrifices are definitely being made, hoping and praying they’re all gonna be worth it in the end🫩🤍 hope you guys are doing ok and i will be back on in a bit.

I’ll be honest, OBX hasn’t been top of mind for me this week. I appreciate the reach out and check in. I’m still juggling a lot at work and will be for the next two months at least, but I’m gonna survive.

Thinking about it, I am sad that it’s ending after 5 seasons, but I agree with those that are saying it will allow the show to wrap up nicely and not have to get weird like shows do when they go too long. I’m happy it’s going to end well and that’s what I’m focusing on with it.

The elections…oof.

Here’s my thoughts. People pick politicians like they choose sports teams. It doesn’t matter sometimes how good a candidate is or how bad another one is. Some people are just going to vote for their team. That’s why we have red and blue states that hold for decades. And Kamala, the queen she is, just didn’t have time to build a team. She had 107 days. She was a master class on running a campaign and would have been great, she just didn’t start with a 9 year lead of building a base.

Trump is awful and I’m going through my emotions too. I shed a tear and now I’m sucking it up and getting my “I told you so” pants ready when he does something that fucks us over, cause he will.

He’s such a bad leader though I’m pretty certain Vance will pull a 25th after the first hundred days so maybe we’ll get rid of him completely.

I know it’s terrifying and he is genuinely a horrible person on a cellular level. Keep your voice loud, don’t let him silence you. That’s what they want. Don’t give it to them. God knows I won’t.

You’re resilient, you’re going to make it. The point of democracy is to keep fighting and making your position known. That’s still important and if we keep that in mind, this won’t be the end of democracy.

I stress wrote the first 2k words last night and am hoping to get a good chunk done tomorrow. We’ll see. Happy you enjoyed chapter 14 ❤️

With only ten days left until your first check in, I’m sure everyone is very busy, excited, and scribbling away. This is a reminder that the deadline for the claims check in is Friday, June 16th.

There are two components to this check in:

3k in writing — this can be notes, prose, excerpts, dialogue snippets — as long as it is at least 3k.

Your claims summary! The claims summary is a 50-100 word description of your fic. This should be a linear description – quotes or excerpts will not be accepted as a claims summary. Claims summaries should also be tagged for major content warnings, including NSFW content, character death, abuse, gore, etc. The tags will not count towards the final word count of the summary. Please do work to keep your summaries brief! We will be making edits where necessary (anything over 100 words, any tags deemed unnecessary)

The check in and claims summary can both be sent to [email protected] in either separate attachments or as separate links to google docs.
