One of those odd little internet holidays, a friend of mine took to hosting a Cheese Weasel Party every April, and I try to host one if I can.
It's very simple - you invite as many people as possible, and have everyone bring a couple of fancy cheeses that you don't normally get an excuse to have, and that's it! Some people bring wine.
(It is a fantastic party to host, because all you need to supply is plates, soft drinks, and crackers, and you end up with the most amazing leftovers.)
It can be a very kid friendly party too - one year I got a couple of pizza kits and the kids created pizzas with all sorts of unusual cheeses.
