Idea: rather than project all his childhood insecurities on his children, Hiccup holds Zephyr (or Tiny 👀) for the first time and he cries for himself as well because he holds this newborn, his first, and he can't ever imagine casting this child out like he was once casted out for so long that acceptance from the enemy was enough for him.

After being very ill and then very busy, I have finally gotten around to finishing this - you may have already seen the non-coloured sketch! But here is the finished result!

While Berk had gotten used to the image of Hiccup and Toothless standing together, as often was the case when Hiccup was younger, they had also gotten used to seeing Hiccup, as Chief, standing next to Toothless while Hiccup carried one of his children (some of whom looked like the Chief!) in his arms and one of Toothless’s offspring around his shoulders.

A finished commission for @ashleybenlove!

It took me a little while to do as this was definitely the most challenging thing I've ever drawn, but once I got Toothless' head and backlegs right, the rest just fell into place. I enjoyed every second of this art!

✨️WIP WEDNESDAY✨️

Now I know you were probably expecting some of my musings from my Pavellan (+Cullen) wip, but not today, folks. Sorry about that (too spoiler-y) 🙃

But~🎶 I do have something, or rather someone (😆 are you excited?!), related to (in the literal sense) these guys.

Meet Ashwin's younger brother: Warrick Rutherford 👏👏✨️

Just a little bit about him under the cut:

He is the child of Cullen Rutherford and Mahanon Lavellan (a trans man)

He was conceived around just before the Trespasser DLC takes place (meaning he hasn't been born yet. I'm not 100% sure I'm using the words correctly.)

As a result of being "a bun in the oven" during the whole "the Inquisitor's mark is killing them" thing, he was born with lightning shaped scars all across his body and on the right side of his face. As well as resulting in him having heterocromea; his right eye being the same colour of the Inquisitor’s mark/ the Anchor.

He is a couple of years younger than his older sister, Ashwin Lavellan-Pavus (the daughter of Mahanon Lavellan and Dorian Pavus), who was 3 nearly 4 around the time he was born

When he is young, he expresses that he wants to be a Knight like his dad (Cullen)

He is around the age of 10 his sister had to stay with Dorian in Tevinter for a few years as her magic began to develop, so it was just him, Cullen, and Mahanon for a while.

He loves his older sister very much. Although he'd never admit it to her face.

He'd stand up for her if necessary as some of the other kids would bully her and make fun of her for being half elf. (He'd beat the meanest ones up and then get into trouble when he got home with bruised knuckles. Ashwin would hug him and say thank you after he'd been told off)

He may be the younger brother, but he is infact taller than Ashwin by a head and a half (he gets that from Mahanon's family, elves are lanky)

That's all I've got on him so far. He may or may not appear near the end of my wip (which has a name now btw: "I won't give up on us/ Even if the skies get rough" title from "I Won't Give Up" - Jason Mraz)
