bettering myself for me 🏋🏽♀️
it is july 17 2020 and here i am sitting on my bedroom floor drenched in a pool of sweat. too much detail? possibly. did i just workout? yes. do i smell like a boy after his high school gym class? without a doubt.
during this quarantine, i gained 25 pounds and i started to visibly see it in my body. this is the heaviest i have ever been and it is certainly not comfortable for me. i noticed my feet started to swell like balloons and the jeans i had bought for work did not fit me.
i am very confident in myself but i was not comfortable. i decided to start working out daily and eating better. I’m not doing it to look better but to feel better. and to do that, it starts with me.
i found that chloe ting 2 week shred and decided it would be a good start. I also started to go on a run every other day to improve my breathing.
before starting to exercise from not exercising at all, i would go on youtube and look up breathing exercises while laying in bed to ensure you don’t pass out when you do start to work yourself.
i also started drinking almost 100 ounces of water everyday to make sure i don’t get dehydrated. i’m on day two of the two week shred and it is definitely tough but i do feel a little change already believe it or not.
i am determined to lose the weight i had gained and determined to gain a new appreciation for myself.
