I'm so sorry!!!
It’s more of an annoyance than anything else, but also kinda disappointing. It’s fun to be surprised with these sorts of things, but I’m still interested in seeing how it all plays out :D

SIGH. I'm gonna have to avoid everything on mobile for the next few days, I think.
I’ve seriously considered uninstalling the Tumblr app until I watch Endgame. That’s not too much right? I feel like that might be too much.
All these positive MEA anons are kinda making me want to play the game finally.
Really? Cool :)
If you do play it, I hope you enjoy it. Do you have apprehension about some stuff btw?
The one thing that needed some getting used to for me was the exploration resulting in a non-linear storytelling. You’re never going to get “mission -> back to my ship -> mission.” On my second playthrough, having more patience and trying to have fun on different planets made a huge difference for me. I also ended up liking more things in the game and I appreciated the characters more.
7) When is your preferred time to write? In the evening after dinner. In the morning after breakfast.Middle of the day is right out.
15) If you write OC’s, how do you decide on their names? I panic and hope for the best. My Shepards allhave Old Testament names. That’s the only theme I had going, really.
17) Post a line from a WIP that you’re working on. During a pause, she leans over to Corso. "What the fuck does'exfiltrate' mean?" she whispers.
20) Are there any stories that you wished you’d ended differently? I can’t think of any? There are stories I wish I’d finished, but that’s adifferent question...
IF only in some AU, Casey/Steve, "Post Break Up Kiss!"
THIS TOOK SO LONG FOR ME TO GET AROUND TO JESUS.
Anyway, here it is, except that it’s actually canon that they break up and it literally only happened because you sent me this prompt
Casey carefully lowers himself into the chair, making sureto watch his thigh as he slides back into his seat, an effort that seemspointless given the searing pain spreading through his leg regardless. Hemumbles a few expletives under his breath as he rests his head on the back ofthe stiff leather chair. After taking a second to let the pain subside, hereaches over the arm of the chair and tugs on a lever, elevating his right legslowly as the front of the chair rises under it.
After a moment of discomfort, he turns on the TV across theroom and begins looking through the channels, knowing he’s not likely to findanything terribly interesting so early in the day- just a variety of soapoperas and talk shows. Just as he decides to condemn himself to an hour of schmaltzyand melodramatic salarian television, a gentle chime reverberates through theapartment.
Heh, saved by the bell,he thinks with a little snort of laughter, turning the TV off and moves to getup before remembering that his body is still half broken and he can’t just runup to get the door. Yelling down the hall that he’s on his way, he slowlylowers his leg back down to the floor, trying harder to do so painlessly thistime. Getting out of the chair is normally the hard part, with his leg stillnot liking the idea of 200 pounds of marine resting on it. Trying to heavehimself up, only to slump back into the chair, Casey decides to really go forit, the smallest hint of a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. A wave ofblue ripples over his body as he pushes his back off the chair and thrustshimself forward, stumbling across the floor until he almost collides with thewall.
“Well, at least it worked,” he grumbles, rubbing his thigh, which didn’t manage to make it out unscathed. Limping a little more than hewould like, Casey makes his way toward the door, pulling it open just as thechime resounds again. The person waiting for him on the other side of the doorgives him pause, his mouth hangs open for a second as he struggles to collecthis thoughts.
“Steve.”
“You grew out your beard,” Steve gestures awkwardly.
Rubbing the thick black scruff covering his jaw and cheeks,he laughs, “Yeah, it’s a little out of control, I guess. I’ve been meaning t-”
“I like it,” Steve blurts out, his nervousness overwhelminghim.
Casey smiles softly, a little flattered, a little confused. It’s been months since he’d seen Steve last. Months since Steve decided theyneeded space. Months since Casey’s physical and mental recovery were prioritizedover their love. And now here he is, standing in front of him. He looks wellenough, nervous sweat on his brow notwithstanding. His hair has grown out alittle from his usual tight shave- it’s cute, the way the curls of his hair arebeginning to reveal themselves even at this length. His beard is as handsomeand neatly trimmed as ever and his t-shirt still hugs his body in all of Casey’sfavourite places. But those aren’t things he should be thinking. Not when hisex shows up at his front door.
The silence hangs in the air, thick with tension. Steveseems to be re-evaluating his decision to come here and Casey doesn’t quiteknow what to say to him at this point, not anything he hasn’t said before.
“Uh,” Casey swallows hard, his mouth dry, “do you want tocome in?”
Steve looks around nervously, playing with the hem of hisshirtsleeve, “I don’t know if this is a visit or a quick stop, to be honest.”
Casey closes the door and hobbles onto the front step of thetownhouse and pulls the door closed behind him, the sun blinding him for asecond as he steps outside. “Then what areyou doing here, Steve?”
“You’re walking pretty well. How often do you go to physio?”Steve asks, leaning backward so as to regain some of the distance that Caseyhad closed, his hand nowfirmly clasping the opposite elbow, thumb nervously rubbing at thetaught fabric of his sleeve. His attempt at a diversion is transparent, but, regardless,Casey humours him with a sigh.
“3 times a week. What a-”
“And therapy?”
“Every Sunday.” Casey pauses, staring at Steve throughsquinted eyes, “Steve, why are you here?” he asks bluntly, his arms firmly crossedover his broad chest. He catches Steve’s face twinge a little at his tone andCasey can’t help but feel himself slip back into that place, where he couldjust reach out and touch Steve to let him know that it was okay, where they hada future. Now he wasn’t sure that’s what Steve wanted. Part of him wouldn’tblame Steve for coming only to completely break things off and somehow, heknows that part of him would be okay with that. For what it was worth, Steve’schoice to end their relationship for Casey’s own good had at least been effective.
“I don’t know.” Steve mumbles, eyes turned down to theconcrete beneath their feet.
“What does that mean?” Casey’s arms slowly drop to his side, his voice sceptical.
Steve clasps his hand behind his neck in some effort to workout his tension. “I don’t know!” he snaps. Closing his eyes for a second toregain composure, he takes a deep breath, “I just… I had to see you,” He looksup and for the first time since he arrived, he seeks out Casey’s eyes. There’sa second where Casey’s breath catches, where suddenly his insides turn to mushas he remembers what staring into those eyes feels like- warmth. Home. Family. “I miss you. A lot,” Stevecontinues, stepping toward Casey. Casey shuffles backward a little, trying tostop his feelings from resurfacing. He’d spent months getting over thosefeelings and he wasn’t ready to let them spill out over a misunderstanding.Steve reaches out, brushing Casey’s forearm. Casey twitches under his touch andSteve pulls his hand back just a little in response. “I love you, Casey,” hesays, stepping toward him again, closing all distance between them. Caseytenses, his hands ball up as he tries to control himself. To stop himself fromseeking out Steve’s touch. He can smell the lingering scent of eucalyptus fromSteve’s aftershave. He can feel his cool breath on his neck. Until it’s not onhis neck and Steve’s head is upturned, their faces mere centimetres apart. Hefeels Steve’s hand resting on his bicep, even as gentle as his touch is, Caseybites his lip in response.
Softly, Casey’s voice murmurs from barely parted lips “Whatare you doing here?”
“I don’t know,” Steve mumbles just as quietly, moving hishead slowly toward Casey’s, their eyes still locked, their lips brushing withelectricity that forces him to pull back ever so slightly and take a second.
And suddenly, one hand is on Steve’s neck, the other graspsthe curve of his back, Steve’s own hands clasp Casey’s back and their lips arelocked together. Casey can feel tears welling in his closed eyes as he embracesSteve, as Steve’s lips press gently into his, his teeth pulling ever soslightly on Casey’s lower lip.
Tears silently stream out of both of their eyes, as theypress their foreheads together, pulling apart from their kiss.
“I… I love you too,” Casey whispers, his breath still takenby the kiss, by the feeling of being in his arms again, “But if you’re not hereto get back together, then we can’t do this.”
Steve chuckles, his tongue flicking along the sharp edge ofhis upper teeth as a crooked smile spreads across his face, “I lied. I do knowwhy I’m here.”
“If it wouldn’t absolutely destroy my leg to do it, I’d pickyou up and spin you around right now,” Casey laughs, tears still leaking out ofhis eyes.
“It’s the thought that counts, right?”
“You’re just saying that to make me feel better,” Caseyrolls his eyes as he reaches to open the door.
“Did it work?” Steve snarks over his shoulder as he walksthrough the entry.
“No,” Casey replies, pulling the door closed behind him ashe follows Steve inside.
