The Real Steel Battle Couple being Soft

I love these two so much; they are so underrated. They had less then 10 minutes together in G1 but every second of it was great.

Random Headcanons:

The two met when the some of the younger members of Cybertron Intelligence went out for drinks, being introduced by their mutual acquaintance, Longarm, who promptly left afterwords, saying he had a “matter of grave importance” to discuss with Highbrow (Because Shockwave playing cupid and arranging a "meetcute" for them to keep Chromia distracted so he can turnaround and offline Highbrow Prime is honestly the funniest thing to me)

Ironhide fell first, instantly smitten with the well-spoken but sharp-tongued fem who has no tolerance for other’s shitty behavior, but Chromia fell harder, endeared by his polite “southern charm” and his readiness to lend a servo or an audial

Despite only officially courting eachother for a few centuries, they are engaged and living together. It’s all very scandalous

Neither particularly care

Ironhide is a cuddlebug and will take any chance to hold Chromia he can get

Chromia pretends to hate it while very clearly thriving on the physical affection

Extremely professional with one another until they are off the clock as a rule of thumb, though there are some notable exceptions

They were caught one time being intimate at the work place where they really shouldn’t have been, but Blurr owed Chromia a favor (and genuinely liked her as one of his few competent coworkers) so he let it slide

while Ironhide has a dozen and one pet names for her (sweetspark, Bluebell, Baby Blue,Chromy, Mia-my-love (said as one word), etc), Chromia calls him exclusively by his full name or Heidi when they are alone

Oohh how are Chromia and Ironhide doing, do they know where their daughter is or how is she, like they trust her but they still worry about her?

This one is tough, as I haven't yet expanded on Ironhide and Chromia's story.

What I can tell you that Chromia and Ironhide I plan were on different ships during the time of the Great Exodus, but neither hopped on the Ark proper. After that, for the majority of the civil war both Chromia and Ironhide were posted on various worlds, mostly to back up allies, but in the modern time, Chromia is the only one I can confirm alive, while I decide on what to do with Ironhide for the time being.

They both worry about their "darlin' Aerial" becoming... someone else. Elita-1 outside of combat and command still has a lot of that energy of a girl who had big dreams and wanted to be a singer.

Commander and Guardian of Cybertron Elita-1 on the other hand feels like a completely different, an aggressive young woman who leaps into battle who can belt out orders that scares the bolts of 'bots three times her size.
