i do actually! i have 3 and am considering making a 4th. i made them very recently so they’re all still wip and the 3rd one is completely empty bc i cant rlly nail down the vibe i want for it
because eris is supposed to be a singer in universe i decided she needed music obvs so i made 3 playlists for each of her 3 distinct musical periods/eras, with songs that i could imagine her actually singing in universe
the first is the pre-addiction period, when she was still very much controlled by her mother and her record label, so it’s all very generic pop vibes? i do want to make sure i mention that i don’t dislike any of the songs i put on there, they’re kind of just a bit shallow, not a ton of depth, with messages mostly like “i love my bff” and “let’s have fun and party”. very much pink sparkly cutesy pop vibes
the second is the mid-addiction period. this is obvs when eris is in active addiction and is starting to try and break free of her mother and record labels control of her career but they still have a hold on her. it’s a lot more mature, lots of mentions of sex and drugs, and i just realized it’s kinda giving like former disney star trying to break out of their family friendly image but like. it fits so. anyways this playlist has more of an electro kinda vibe so far bc a lot of eris’s character was inspired by affection addiction by vocaloKAT which is obvs first on the playlist so i try to match those vibes a bit
the third is the post addiction period, and like i said im having a hard time pinning it down so the playlist is completely empty rn bc i didnt like where i was going with it before. this is the stuff that eris is putting out during canon, after breaking free from her record label and being able to really try to discover her own voice. the only ideas i’ve had for this playlist is the stuff im currently into and listen to while i daydream abt my ocs. bc eris was created near the end of one of my sea shanty/celtic folk phases and is still my focus while im currently getting back into babymetal, those are my only 2 ideas rn and neither of them feel quite right. i feel like im onto something with metal, bc the idea of her getting into counter culture music like that feels right but idk if metal is the right one for her. i’ll figure it out
and the fourth playlist i haven’t actually made yet is for songs that remind me of eris but i don’t think she’d actually sing. like DNA guarantee by kodi rhianne is THE eris song in my mind but i think she wouldn’t actually allow herself to sing something like that in canon bc it’s too vulnerable, so it doesn’t fit on the other playlists

cellbit was the one who lead the order, the one who came up with all the plans. now that he’s gone, the rest of the servers pure destructive force is now unleashed.

i believe that’s everything but if there’s something u think i need to add to those warnings just let me know. it’s not super graphic but i did wanna make sure i covered my bases
so i’ve only recently got back into ninjago, i used to be super into it as a kid and the interest has come back a few times in the past, but this time i can tell it’s more of a hyperfixation, i think it’s probably bc i got to got to legoland california for a couple of days a few months ago (and meet kai and jay!!) so that probs kickstarted it again (i also watched some dreamzzz but i only have room in my brain for 1 thing rn so that will have to wait).
so the last season i remembered watching was skybound. i know i also went back and watched hands of time at some point, which is why ive skipped it in my catchup watching, but i dont rlly remember it super well, or at least not as well as skybound. maybe that’s bc im a jay girl at heart, but i digress
so skybound introduced a lot of concepts, and then like, never went back to them again. the biggest one being jays adoption/family. and then never mentioned it again. i’m aware it was briefly touched on in prime empire, but as of rn ive just finished watching season 10 (which was hard to find online btw) so i haven’t seen that yet and as far as i know it still wasnt rlly used at all
and what do we say when canon leaves all this prime real estate untouched? MY CITY NOW!
so the idea came from the fact that cliff gordon, aka jays bio dad, is a celebrity. and i thought that there’s no way he hasn’t ~gotten around~ if u know what i mean and def could possibly have other children out there. and considering i retroactively checked the wiki to find out it’s at least semi canon (mentioned in a tweet) that cliff and jays mom broke up bc of his womanizing, i am vindicated (i came up with at least 60% of the lore b4 checking the wiki so if it contradicted me i was just going to ignore that. but it didn’t. so i am vindicated)
so that was the start of the idea of giving jay a half sibling. then i decided to add a toxic alcoholic hollywood mother and it just kinda spiraled from there
onto actual lore!! sorry it took so long, i’m a big believer in giving the background of how everything started b4 i get to the real story
so it starts with her parents. obviously there’s cliff gordon, her father, and then her mother, celestia inverna, another oc, her lore is more vague since she’s a supporting character. celestia comes from some kind of old money family or something, pretty rich and influential, and is a celebrity as well, some kind of singer/actress, her character is very much inspired by like golden age starlets. she and cliff have a toxic, on again-off again relationship, which leads to eris being born
one important thing to note is that celestia is truly in love with cliff here. it’s a very toxic, possessive and obsessive love, but it is there. and cliff isn’t innocent in this either, he definitely knows how celestia feels, but he leads her on bc he likes being desired and enjoys the physical relationship they have. it’s very unhealthy on both sides. this eventually leads to eris being conceived, due to celestia tampering with the condoms/birth control, convinced that baby trapping cliff will finally get him to commit to her
unfortunately, it does the opposite, and being faced the idea of raising a child and being tied down, he runs off. cliff completely ends the relationship and cuts all ties with celestia. this causes all her love to turn to hate, but it’s still just as toxic and obsessive, just in the opposite direction. and eris gets stuck in the middle of it. meanwhile, bc both parents are famous stars, the media and the ninjago equivalent of hollywood, ninjallywood? ninjawood? gollywood? whatever, are fanning the flames
so all in all, not a great environment to grow up in. eris is basically born into the entertainment industry, stuck with an unstable, alcoholic mother, who eris has to walk on eggshells around to try and avoid her mood swings, and an absent father, who she resents for a) knowing how bad celestia is and getting involved with her anyway, and b) abandoning eris with her. eris does end up reconnecting and reconciling a bit with her father when she’s older, but they’re def not super close, and it comes wayyy later
so eris grows up basically both emotionally neglected and smothered by her mother. celestia is overly controlling when it comes to eris’ career in entertainment, but completely hands off with anything else, leaving it to nannies and staff. shes very isolated, and even tho she cares for the staff that take care of her, there’s still a divide there bc they fear upsetting her mother and she knows that there’s a power imbalance there bc she’s the daughter of their employer. sad sad lonely childhood. but at least she’s rich (there are elements of wish fulfillment in all of my ocs. money is one of the most common ones. ok just let me have this)
then when she’s like 5-6 (timelines and ages can get fucky sometimes but that shld stay the same, i’m always gonna have her at least 5 yrs older than jay) guess who comes into the picture that’s right it’s jay. little itty bitty baby jay. i believe it’s canon that jays mother was the one who left him with ed and edna but. my city now. this next part probs also requires some suspension of disbelief but like, bear with me. ok
so jay is born and idk let’s just say instead of being able to drop him off at the junkyard, his mom just kinda had to leave him in the hospital. idk they never explain why she left him anyways so whatever. and the hospital ppl are like, “????? who’s gonna take care of this baby???” and cliff and jays mom (btw i seriously can’t believe she STILL doesn’t have a canon name. some people call her libber bc they called her libber gordon during production apparently but like that’s still not canon. it’s apparently a nickname that tommy a. calls his wife. which like, i will admit that it’s a cute gesture but also i have personal beef with tommy a. so. fuck it. i’m just calling her lightning, for previous lightning master) are already broken up by this point (divorced i assume? lightning mentions in her like, 1 line that she’s missing her honeymoon so i assume they were married at some point) but cliffs like still on the birth certificate so they call him
and cliff, still can’t handle the actual child he has, is certainly not going to be able to handle an actual newborn baby so he panics, and calls up the only person he knows with a child currently, celestia, and is like, “hey, can u maybe take care of this kid?” and celestia, for whatever fucking reason, agrees. and then just drops the baby off with eris and her nannies. and eris gets SUPER attached
this is like her first human connection. she’s starved of any kind of affection and this is HER baby brother and he grabs her finger and laughs and she’s so fucking attached. but celestia is not so happy abt him. remember she’s still kinda obsessed with cliff, and having HIS KID with another woman living under celestias roof is not good for her mental health. she already had her moods where anything wld set her off but the baby crying makes it even worse. very bad time for the rest of the household
this is actually one of the most fleshed out snippets in my head, where eris realizes that jays stopped crying and knows that she needs to get him out of that environment. bc babies crying is the most natural thing for them to do so if they stop something is very wrong. or something like that. so she plans to get him out of there
the original concept for this was that celestia would sometimes jsut randomly plunk eris in foster care/an orphanage or smth and then just randomly picks her up again whenever she feels like it and will bribe the court/foster care system to let her take eris again. and then she puts both eris and jay in foster care and the ppl in charge keep trying to separate them, bc babies are adopted more on their own, and eris decides that if they’re going to be separated it’s gonna be on her terms, but idk. that ideas been kind of abandoned as i’ve been added to the lore. it’s not rlly that important
the most important thing to know is that eris is the one who leaves jay with the walkers. i know this requires some suspension of disbelief, that a young child is capable of that all on her own but like just stay with me here. she’s rich. she has staff people helping her, like a chauffeur driving her to the junkyard or smth. whatever. she leaves jay there with a note that says his name and the key or whatever there was in canon and then goes back to her house. once she gets a bit older she starts to keep an eye on the walkers and tries to like help them out by sending business opportunities their way or smth
as for why eris chose the walkers, i’ve been thinking it’s because of something inconsequential? like they were nice to her and helped her get something off a shelf in a store or something like that. or, i just had this idea, she was on an outing in ninjago city to like the park or whatever and she gets separated from her caretakers and the walkers notice her and help her get back to them. i’ve realized through developing her that eris has a thing about being seen and acknowledged, so like the fact that the walkers noticed her when everyone else was just walking past her rlly meant a lot to her. obviously not a great criteria for choosing who to parent your baby half sibling but like she’s 5 and also no one’s ever accused her of having good judgment. but it worked out anyways so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
god i can’t believe ive written this much and haven’t even gotten to the teen years yet (that’s a lie i can totally believe it) i might have to make more posts if u wanna hear abt more detail but im gonna kinda try and speed run the rest of the lore
so after leaving jay, she goes back to her life, and works in the entertainment industry. she does a bunch of stuff, she’s kinda like mainly supposed to be a popstar so she does music and concerts but she also does acting and modeling and other stuff. her mom controls a lot of that but there’s also toxic entertainment executives involved. when she’s 16 she’s put together in this idol group (probably jpop inspired? ninjago is kinda based on some asian culture so im trying to bring back a bit of that influence) with this girl her age named karina and they connect a lot. shes basically eris’ first real friend
this is the part when eris really starts trying to rebel against her mother and try and get out from under her control so there’s a lot of tension between them because of that. and basically karina encourages eris to start coming with her to parties and doing drugs and long story short this is the start of eris’ party phase and she gets addicted to drugs. badly. karina is also addicted, she was the one that encouraged eris to start, although karina was also a victim of predatory managers and stuff who got her started
it’s probably painfully obvious that i’ve only gotten drunk like twice before, but i did get advice from a friend who does recreational drugs so hopefully that part of the lore is accurate? but ill have to make more posts explaining abt it
at some point during the party phase, celestia dies, eris throws a party abt it, bc she hated her mom but that’s still not like a healthy reaction. then when she’s around 19, karina dies of an overdose. eris does not take it well, but this actually kickstarts her journey to try and get sober. it’s rough going, for the next few years she’s in and out of rehab, keeps relapsing, it’s rough. jay is fine during all of this btw. happy as a clam in the junkyard
at like 20-21 she meets lance, who needs his own post but he’s basically like eris’ butler/assistant/secretary/basically everything/also kinda soulmate? it’s complicated. but basically she helps lance by paying off his debts or something and then he pledges his life to her bc both of these ppl are incapable of being normal. and he helps her get and stay sober
and then at some point season 1/2 starts and holy fuck that’s my brother running around in a ninja suit risking his life what the fuck??? and so she tries to help in the background. and then i figured they actually like meet, meet in skybound? bc like, their fathers dead and now they have to deal with the inheritance. but then skybound gets timeline reset and now jay has memories of the fact that he has a sister and eris knows him but like doesn’t know he knows idk, they connect somehow and it’s kinda awkward but i think they become close and she’s kinda part of the team
also throughout all of this she’s still super popular and famous, like i’m figuring she’s kinda a ninjago equivalent of like taylor swift or lady gaga or something idk. she has stans and everything
so yeah that’s basically my insane girl rich celebrity princess eris who has no idea how to connect with people except through giving them money and material gifts!! sorry for the massive post, pls let me know if u want more posts where i go into more detail abt other bits of lore that i glossed over here, or send me asks if u wanna know abt smth specific, like her relationship with the other ninja or smth
since each new group of streamers has arrived on the island in a different mode of transportation and they’ve already done the 3 most normal and common forms of transportation (train, boat, plane) heres a list of different ways i think new groups of streamers could arrive on the island in no particular order:
- a second plane (you know exactly why this one is here)
- a submarine washes up on the beach
- a spaceship crashing, with the streamers being astronauts
- another spaceship but this one is like a ufo and the streamers are either aliens or were abducted by aliens
- giant 18 wheeler truck
- circus caravan
- any kind of novelty brand vehicle like the planters peanuts nutmobile or the oscar meyer wienermobile
- those pink kids toys barbie jeeps
- a duck boat that got really really lost during its tour of boston
- a fleet of bikes like the tour de france or something
- the streamers are running a marathon
- a bunch of those swan shaped paddle boats
- a transformer, but the giant mech is never acknowledged or remarked upon, except for when they drop off the streamers and they’re like “thanks bumblebee!” and the he just fuckin leaves
- they just walk out of the sea somehow
- launched out of a trebuchet
- on horseback as cowboys herding a bunch of cattle
Pomme was a lost kid the French found, at some point she just keeps Coming back. Bc honestly the French have like that sitcom family vibe of we just found a baby I guess we're keeping it????? Where did Pomme come from? Who knows. Irrelevant
wait actually i love that so much bc like my plan for how the brazilians get richas is basically exactly that and i adore the idea of both the french and the brazilians being like sitcom families, but like they are from different sitcoms. but like they are also the same. they look different on the surface but it is the exact same vibe. same bitch different fonts. they pass each other on the street and they’re all thinking “god those guys are so weird. glad we’re normal though”
this is especially funnier bc in my au baghera and forever are twins. they both show up to their weekly twin hangouts dragging their goofy ass brady bunch families behind them and do the spider-man pointing meme

- kids they mentor (tbf thatd probably be more appropriate for highschool but it could maybe work)
- they babysit the kids occasionally and now they just tag along sometimes
- relatives of some sort they just happen to look after, maybe siblings or cousins
- kids of professors that just chill at the college sometimes and they just jokingly 'adopted'
just some ideas I thought of, they're not very good but I figured I'd share because I really like the au idea. If this is unwanted input then I'm very sorry, please just ignore the ask :)

those are pretty good ideas too, i have a couple of eggs with similar stories, they all go to the preschool on campus, so they at least know each other from there, i’m just working on how the players come in
the ones i have a good solid plan for are chayanne, tallulah, richarlyson, and trump
chayannes: his parents are rich and always working, phil is his nanny and he’s with phil a lot, he also got attached to missa, who’s phil’s roommate
talullah: similar situation as chayanne, wilbur gives her music lessons and her parents don’t rlly care about where she is so she hangs out with him even outside of lessons bc she’s lonely and he’s attached
richarlyson: some random relative of cellbits dropped him off at the favela (the house the brazilians live in together) now the brazilians have to take care of him while cellbit tries to track down his parent
trump: maximus’s little brother, their parents are pretty distant so max ended up taking care of trump the most, along with his roommate, dan. lately tho, max has been focusing more on sofia than trump and trumps been feeling neglected. especially since dan disappeared
i have a few ideas for a few other eggs, just nothing as defined
bobby: i was thinking that maybe his parents run the restaurant on campus that roier works at, so bobby hangs out with him. and then jaiden works at a wildlife rescue with birds, and they have after school programs for kids that bobby comes to a lot. and then i guess roier and jaiden become friends through bobby
ramon: fit works at the gym on campus, so maybe ramon does like martial arts lessons with him or something
dapper: i feel like dapper could be bbh’s foster kid, bbh seems like the kind of guy to foster kids who need it, i’m just not sure it makes sense for a guy in college to be allowed to foster kids or why dapper would be in the system in the first place
and then i have like basically no clue for juanaflippa, pomme, leonarda, and tilin

i already heard abt this from someone on tiktok but it was still a little disappointing to me that they changed namis story. like don’t get me wrong it was amazing and i did end up crying at one point but like
the tragedy in the live action of nami sacrificing herself for her village, and the villagers not knowing abt her deal with arlong and hating her for it, thinking she actually joined up with arlong, including her own sister, was good but i prefer the animanga version. because not only is there the tragedy of namis abuse at arlongs hands and being forced to work for her mothers killer, and the villagers hating her, there’s the reveal that they knew all along. it’s like a double whammy of tragedy
nami works to free the village, with this basically impossible deal that arlong had no intention of honoring, while shouldering the villagers hatred, because even if they don’t know what she’s doing, it’s her home and family and she’ll save them no matter what. only the whole time, they knew exactly what she was doing, because genzo got suspicious on his own and made nojiko tell him, and they’ve been trying to make her hate them so she’ll give up on saving them and run away to live her own life. it’s just sooooo good. the tragedy of both sides trying to save each other and accepting that they need to be hated to do that, because they want the best for the other even if that means theyll never see each other again. because the villagers wanted nami to run and live her own life, and if she did then they knew she could never come back again because of arlong obvs. and on the other side i fully believe if namis deal had worked out she would’ve left cocoyasi and never come back bc that’s what she believed the villagers would want
auuughhh it’s just sooooo gooood. both trying to do what they think is best for the other but being too stubborn to try and work out a better way. being in a shitty situation and trying desperately to do what you can even if it hurts you
and also the individual relationships! like i wasn’t a huge fan of the fact that nojiko didn’t know abt the deal and also hated nami. i rlly like how in the manga nami still has one person she can trust and rely on even if nojiko can’t really help out, and she won’t let her try to help. and nojiko watching her sister work herself into the ground and not being able to do anything except have a home for her to come back too. and i believe she also knew about genzo and the villagers plans too, so seeing nami hurt by the villagers hatred and knowing it’s false but not being able to tell her
and genzo too! he was the one who realized that nami working with arlong was suspicious, made nojiko tell him about the deal, and came up with the whole plan. because before arlong came he knew nojiko and nami best he was basically their dad. he was watching over her when she was with arlong and he saw her being hurt but he couldn’t do anything!! auuughh!!! he wore that stupid pinwheel on his hat for her!! bc it made her laugh!!
in conclusion i liked the live action but im sad that they took away a lot of the depth of some of the side characters and boiled it down to just “oh yeah they all hate her for real”
