Co-written by AI Danganronpa fanfiction that focuses on students of American Division of the Hope's Peak Academy. Covers first chapter of a (roughly planned) five chapters story. Like in the games, it lasts until the conclusion of the first Class Trial.

I created this for an experiment. Chapter 1 was half written by AI (NovelAI Erato). Until the crime, it was closer to 2/3 being written by AI, but AI couldn't handle resolving mystery as well as characters and throwing ideas for it. Then I had ChatGPT check the grammar.

I don't know if this is going to be continued further. I have other projects to make, and I was willing to make this mostly for the sake of the experiment. I had fun making it, though. Maybe feedback will affect my decision.

She could've committed the crime. There's also the fact that she was never a part of the Insect Meet and Greet. She could've gone to Ryoma's lab and killed him and then used Himiko's magic show Kirumi was planning to store his body.

Oh, and you know that unused sprite of Miu holding a censored dildo? That could've been her sprite for when she's backed into a corner during the class trial.

The scene opens with violent, crashing waves against a cliffside, Maki standing on the edge of it as hundreds, possibly thousands, of woodshopped Monokumas approach her, katanas in hand.

Maki looks stressed. She quickly takes out a blade; a small serrated knife. She prepares herself, while Monokuma, off to the side, chuckles darkly and holds up a crude straw doll of Maki.

Maki suddenly lurched forwards as Monokuma thrust the doll in the same direction, a terrified expression on her face as she rockets toward her foes. She sliced through one, then another, and began slaughtering them all under Monokuma’s puppeteering.

She finished most of the troops, then looked toward the stuffed bear. She launched at him, slicing the doll clean in half.

A bead of sweat runs down Monokuma’s face.

The execution quickly turns south as the two begin a macabre dance across the field. Monokuma hid behind bots again and again, only for them to be snapped by the Ultimate Assassin in her relentless persuit of him.

It finally came to a head as Monokuma hid behind a massive horde of puppets, which Maki took the bait for and hacked them all to pieces.

Suddenly, from behind her sprang a puppet in the eerie likeness of Kaito.

Maki, however, expected a trick like this. She slid under the facadę and, with all her might, cleaved a mighty hole in Monokuma’s stomach.

As the rest of the horde closed in, the exhausted Maki took Monokuma in her arms. With the last bit of her strength, she stabbed into his vital circuits, just as the wooden puppets stabbed into her relentlessly with their katanas.

The rest of the class watches the scene from the trial room with the TV. Mixes of horror, grief, and maybe determination cross their faces as they watch Maki and Monokuma get skewered repeatedly.

Maki Harukawa, the Ultimate Assassin, can no longer be spoken to.
