A simple and classic recipe for making delicious French toast. Perfect for a quick and satisfying breakfast or brunch.
Ingredients: 4 slices of bread. 2 large eggs. 1/2 cup of milk. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. 2 tablespoons of butter. Maple syrup for serving.
Instructions: Bring the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon together in a bowl and mix them with a whisk. Put the pan or griddle over medium-low heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter. Let the butter melt. Make sure to cover both sides of each slice of bread with the egg mixture. Put the bread slices that have been coated on the hot pan and cook for about two to three minutes on each side, until both sides are golden brown. If the food starts to stick, add more butter to the pan. Take the French toast out of the pan and serve it hot with maple syrup.
