been rewatching the Final Fifteen and its so clear how poor Azi does not have a choice but to go along with Metatron's plans

not only did the Metatron threaten him with the coffee, pointing out that he got it from "the shop" (which of course is called give me coffee or give me death)

but Metatron also talks about how Gabriel came directly to Azi, and that's not a good sign, given how Gabriel was on the run from heaven... is Azi being punished here?

Metatron also mentions Crowley, and how if Azi worked with him again, it would be considered irregular

its a threat, and as Azi does not have a choice but to go to Heaven, I think he was trying to protect Crowley by bringing him along and keeping him close by

too bad that Azi could not speak plainly of this (he looks out of the window after Crowley says "tell me you said no", presumably because Metatron is outside) and shakes his head when Crowley starts talking about how he "is better than all that"

instead Azi had to try and convince Crowley to come with him by talking about how heaven is Good Actually (even after spending the whole season reminiscing the times where he learned that reality is not so black and white) but of course, this didnt work

so instead Azi goes it alone, because he has no choice but to play along with what the Metatron has planned for him. to me, his smile at the end shows his determination to do the best he can to prevent this Second Coming, protect Earth, and of course Crowley

interesting narrative choice that the members laios lost at the start were the ppl he was closer to in the party. Falins his sister, namari is the last member thats been w the sibs since the start, shuro allegedly his first friend on the island.

I have a question about Philip and Caleb in The Owl House:

There are statues of the 2 of them in Gravesfield.

But, according to the story Masha told, they were initially just two orphan boys who stumbled into the town and then got spirited away by a witch. Even in "Hollow Mind", the memory portrait in Belos's mind shows them as just boys when they first met the witch.

But if they were just boys or teens when they were spirited away, and if they had no family or prior legacy in the town, then even as witch hunters, why would the town build statues of them?

So...did they actually move back and forth between the towns? Did they grow up in both worlds? That would explain why some of the memory portraits later show them much older.

So...Did they move back and forth between worlds during their lifetime - until Philip finally killed Caleb? That would explain how they had enough time to build a legacy strong enough to get statues made of them in the town - and how the "legend" Masha explained had enough time to be spread, so much so that it's still being told in the present. (It would also explain why the statues of them were depicted as adults, although the story mentions them disappearing as "boys".) And if that was the case, what happened during all those years? (Plus, I'd really like to know what those two became famous for in the town, cuz I'm pretty sure it's not for witch-hunting, or for the fact that people know they were the two disappearing boys in the legend.)

Call me crazy but I think the reason that the writers set up Josephine’s hair twirling tick so much is so that people, like Bellamy “I just want my wife back” Blake (and us the audience), could notice and distinguish the finger tapping as something else entirely.

Okay this is a really small thing but it bugs me so much when people all over the internet, youtube etc. are talking about Buffy 1.03 and calling it ‘The Witch’! That’s not the title! The episode is called ‘Witch’ and it’s a pun! Witch = which?, because it’s a body swap episode involving confusion over who the witchy villain actually is. This has been a PSA

Am I the only one who thinks that, if Evelyn does turn out to be a Clawthorne ancestor (and yes, the evidence and patterns supporting that theory seem aplenty), then she might be from Dell's side - as in, not from Eda and Lilith's mother's side, but from their father's side?

After all, He is the professional palisman carver, and He taught Eda how to carve her own palisman. And it's His palisman that looks the most similar to Flapjack. So...yeah, the names all end with Lyn, but looking at the palisman carving skill, and especially at the fact that Evelyn likely gifted Flapjack to Caleb, doesn't it make more sense that it's likely from Eda and Lillith's father's side?

Also, another theory: No one knows where the curse on Eda came from. And while they call it the "Owl Beast Curse" in the beginning sometimes...what if the curse differs based on which person it is cast on?

Because, Eda already had Owlbert as her Palisman before she was affected with the curse. And then this unknown curse turned her into an Owl Beast. But when Lilith transformed, she looked decidedly different, more like her own palisman. (Not to mention The Collector's motif and appearance in Eda's dream. Oh gosh, there's so much foreshadowing everywhere to so many plots and possibilities! I love this show!)

On top of all that, the title itself is "The Owl House", and while that seemed a generic name in the beginning, like just naming the show after the main HQ of the characters, we never see how Eda really found the house and Hooty. And Hooty himself has mentioned something like remembering a red sky - like the Day of Unity had.

I hope we get to see the origins of that house.
