Looking back in 2024, I've seen a lot of creative indie horror games, but there are some that I grew to like.

These characters are based off of the indie horror games that I am completely fascinated with (aside from TNMN of course lol)

1. Mara Forest from "Crow Country" developed by SFB Games

2. Curly (he's the guy in the wheelchair) from "Mouthwashing" developed by Wrong Organ

3. The Dealer from "Buckshot Roulette" developed by Mike Klubnika

4. The Little Girl from "No, I'm not a Human" developed by Trioskaz

5. Ron and the other Limbo children from "Bad Parenting" made by 2OO2

6. The Rat from "RATSHAKER" made by Sunscorched Studios

7. The Masked Man from "Clickolding" developed by Strange Scaffold.

8. The White Lady from "CROWDED. FOLLOWED." developed by Night Dial

9. The Smiling Man from "No, I'm not a Human" developed by Trioskaz

Finding out RJ Lake did the clickholding soundtrack was like being hit in the face with a fish. That fucking game haunts me like a ghost, wandering unbidden into my mind and ruining my day with how deeply upsetting it is. I love it, don't get me wrong, it's an amazing and upsetting piece of art that is both beautiful and disgusting in equal measure, but one of the things that really stuck with me through it was the soundscape.

I dunno, there's just something about pathetic men that makes my inner alpha wolf come out ((that fucking sentence-)) Would dom, would make him whimper overall: 7/10 point deduction due to him cheating on his wife and being a lil weirdo but still would.

Okay so I watched someone play Clickholding and I don't really wanna play it myself but I'm getting vibes that some of the underlying symbolism is supposed to be about religious sexual repression and there's gotta be someone on this website who can tell me if I'm wrong or not
